Anonymous, 04 Jan 2011Never going back to samsung!
N8 rules!!!Stop trying to compare N8 with the top Androids, because Symbian is an outdated os that is for toys and cameras like N8 but not for smartphones in 2011. Galaxy S with Android 2.2.1 is great, but HTC Desire with Oxygen, Android 2.3, is even better.
N8 sucks, but is a good camera, and Nokia have the worst support of all and Symbian is still the outdated Symbian even after any update.
Unfortunately, I'm own one of those roughly 4 million N. American galaxy S phones!!! How I wish I'd further researched samsung's extremely poor record at updating the OS's of it's phones before making the regrettable decision to buy my vibrant. I will NOT make the same mistake again.
I had bad experience before with samsung phone, i'll stay with nokia now and forever... :p
Megalord, 04 Jan 2011Can we leave the rest of the brands and models out, AND COMMENT ONLY ON GALAXY S PHONES as per... moreit wont happen because there are too many trolls trolling all the posts of popular phones. are you a moderator megalord? cos its about time gsmarena actually did something about it, or aint there enough moderators?
Can we leave the rest of the brands and models out, AND COMMENT ONLY ON GALAXY S PHONES as per the title?
Why are people so affected by sales figure?
Look at the bright side, when sales are low its a rare phone. When its high, its a popular phone. Why degrade so much as to do brand/model bashing?
Did I bashing your "no network coverage" phone with "Cheap Plastic"?
I came here because other person bashing Nokia, im just stand by myself just THE SAME AS YOU DO - STAND BY YOUR IPHONE when someone else bashing your favorite phone.
This is so stupid, when you are saying something without even try to take notice and READ FIRST!
Anonymous, 04 Jan 2011i love my htc hd2 , simply best phone everlmfao
I'll never buy a samsung again.
I have a samsung vibrant.
Awesome hardware - crappy software. buggy gps and laggy filesystem, no system updates, no open source drivers.
samsung is totally lame. the galaxy s is a waste of good hardware.
him, 03 Jan 2011congrats buddy!!
We just cross 1000 comment.lets cheers up.
Such a huge and massive interest... moreYes, I agreed with you. This is because Samsung Galaxy S already released on June 2010 - Just 10 million + sold (7 month old with 1ghz processor)
But Nokia N8 ? Oktober 2010 - 4 million + sold (3 month old that is just with simple 600mhz processor...)
So what the f*ck is going on here? That make sense Nokia is better!
htc users are gelous beaceuse they don't have a smartphone better than galaxy s. they think that snapdragon kickass but don't. HTC only has better (not all phones) is construction quality, the rest suck, slow, bad audio quality, horrible camera quality, etc, even the lancher pro plus is better than htc crap sense! eat that.
I had the pleasure to compare the Samsung S with my windows phone 7, HTC mozart last weekend. My nephew was absolutely impressed as he hasn't seen a WP7 yet and haven't seen this model either. The samsung was blown away, you can't even type fast enough on this model, it just looked so slow and half baked. I think if you enjoy tinkering and making manual updates with your mobile you may enjoy this model, else stick to Windows phone 7 or an iphone. At least things work there.
samsung vibrant battery life blowsssss... no way to control battery life or should i say save it lol lol lol lol
my enet always never works.... when you down load apps phone gets so slow... lost soo much info from android market down loads horrible just horrible

In september I wrote here about romours of the incoming Tegra 2 phones(1080p recording).
Now I forsee at the end of the year the following:
3D hi-res glasses free screens with 3D recording(see article about freescale 4 core procs).
Samsung has already a low res 3d screen phone so it's obvious they will be one of the companies launching 3D phones. Count in the LTE capability, and the SGS will look like a stone-age spear next to a laser gun compared with the phones at the end of the year. N8 will look like a stone btw, and all the people who will buy one this year will commit suicide.
