Unless the resolution of the screen exceeds 720p, you don't need 1080p on your phone. I don't need 1080p not even on my laptop even though it can handle. IMO, regardlessly of how fast phones are, the oses are unoptimized and will always lag. I have sgs, and has the current fastest cpu, and runs froyo, but it still lags, and quite often. Not just nokia lags. At least I'm ok with it.
yeah, how about making less power-hungry and unoptimized os
or bigger batteries
whats the point if your mobile becomes like a laptop, with 5hours batt life
optimise, car manufacturers are doing it
I don't understand... Why isn't there any mention about the GPU? PowerVR, Adreno, Mali, Nvidia?
Smartphones don't need that much power for now. They should focus their research on how to prolong battery life. Isn't that more important than playing 1080p videos on your tiny screen? If you can't tell the difference between a 720p and 1080p on a 40 inch TV then what's the point on having it on a 3.5 inch screen?
You haven't commented on it you just spammed it.
Hopefully manufactuers and developers will make more use of the dual and quad cores than in the PC market.
It's great to have more cores but it meaningless if they are not used.
wat are you suppose to do with this much power in mobile....8210 days were better
