So CM 14.1 official comes out for Mako, HammerheadCAF, and Nexus phones above but not for regular Hammerhead. What gives why have they not given normal Hammerhead an official release. I run a non CAF version of Hammerhead and have been waiting for an official realse from CM but it still hasn't happened yet. Why do they waist time on CAF before normal. The build teams have everything needed to produce a zip file. Stop dragging your feet!

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2016No surprises here. There are less powerful devices than N4 getting official CM nightlies like ... moreAnd we also have a pretty large list of officially support CM devices that, somewhere along the line, stopped being supported. Some of them much more powerful than Nicki, E975 for instance.

Never take CM for granted -- IT'S NOT.

Right1way, 27 Nov 2016They should have open center where you come with your phone, they put you cyanogen on it, and ... moreI had that idea....when I installed CyanogenMod\AOKP on my first Android phone...and understood how useful custom roms can be even on an outdated phone. The obvious thing I was looking to start that business.....people can come and get their phone installed with almost the latest version of Android.

AnonD-246723, 27 Nov 2016Sorry it isnt . It has quad core A9 only . If you dont even know what is A9 then dont bother... moreIt's a Krait core, therefore not an A9 -- it's actually something in-between the A15 and A9.
Much better performance, that's for sure.

They should have open center where you come with your phone, they put you cyanogen on it, and you pay a fee for the process, also that it would not break the guaranty cause it's done professionally. this way, cyanogen adoption would have been more massive, as well possible partnership.

No surprises here. There are less powerful devices than N4 getting official CM nightlies like Xperia M (Nicki) for example and there is also work being done on Galaxy SII...

Awesome! Too bad the E975 (which is the same board as a Nexus 4) is left-out in CM12.1, but hey... a Nexus will always be in another league in terms of support (even if hardware-wise they are the same LG phone).

Speaking of which, a shame Google no longer follows on the Nexus affordability traditions.

Nexus 4 is awesome,i use him every day as my main device :) because its so sexy cuz shiny back body, its shame cuz its not more thicker, but what a heck its made long time ago.For secondary device (to make some photos, videos) i use Galaxy S7 Edge, its really cool device,BUT not that cool or sexy as Nexus 4.It would be awesome to see some kind of reworked Nexus 4..-like Nexus 4-II (2017)...with maybe better camera 13 mpx or more,at least 16gb of storage basic variant and more tinner body with fingerprint.
