Wow! This phones look very promising yet their prices are very affordable, Meizu surprise me with such high specs with such good prices. I want to start trying out your phones starting from this one. Thanks for thinking about your customers.
Shogun, 01 Dec 2016Pro Plus ? Choose one of these word, not both.Next Meizu model with be called the Pro Plus Prime Pantastic!
For $435 I'd rather get this than the OP3T; Meizu did the right thing by going with Exynos again.

If it keeps having better battery life than iphones which are 720p or 1080p im fine with it.

I went from z1 compact to alpha, s6, back to alpha, to note 5 and now with s7. The s7 hardly holds a day, specially when having a ldr. Everything over 1080p belongs on the tv and computer monitors, not a phone. Unless you are a heavy vr user. But hey, even using vr kills the battery within hours. Instead of saying have fun with the alpha, then you should say that I'm bound to my charger bc i can't live without it or a power bank.

But have fun with your significantly less capable galaxy alpha.

The biggest problem is screen SIZE and optimizations towards better battery endurance. Samsung has almost perfected it, that's why Samsung smartphones last longer even with similar capacity to competition.

Huawei P9 has a 3000mah battery and a 1080p screen and its endurance rating is 75 hours.
Note 4 has a 3220 mah battery just 220 mah more and its has a 1440p screen but the endurance for it is 90 hours.
So thanks I will enjoy my 2k screens lasting longer than some 720p and 1080p one's.

but im glad you love to see your battery die faster in high resolution.
So, GSMA calculated the Mi MIX screen to body ratio to be 84.72%. With its really tiny bezels. I won't believe M3X has ratio over 75%.

lol at the companies coming out with these large (over 5.2in.) flagships and then wondering why they don't sell that much.
I like my S6's size. I like that Sony also has the compact phones that have the same specs as the larger versions.
2k screen on less than 4000 mah battery=not worth it. s7 edge would be a better buy. even with touchwiz.
Dino, 30 Nov 2016wow, their naming strategy is getting confusing
they have MX4, MX5, MX6 ....
and now they... moreWell... For starter... It's a different lineup. The MX[n] lineup and m[n] lineup.
There are MX2, MX3, MX4, MX5 (also has MX5s), MX6 on MX[n] lineup.
On the other hand, on m[n] lineup, there are m1 series (m1, m1 note, and m1 metal), m2 series (m2 and m2 note), m3 series (m3, m3s, m3 note, m3 Max, and the new m3x), and m5 series (only m5 by now). I don't know why they skip m4.
Although, if you look at the design, m3x is more like U1 and U2 successor than m3 series successor.
