The success of the new Xperia (Android) family still depends on SE. If they can make it readily available in the market by March...then all SE follower would be a happy camper. Very happy...

"the new tiny QWERTY-equipped device seems to be to the rumored X12, exactly what the X10 mini pro was to the X10."

          let me rephrase that.

"The new [phone] seems be to the x12, as x10 mini pro was to the x10"

          aka x12 mini pro

            btw back on topic....

I love how they broke up the "mediascape" functions into widgets. Makes alot more sense now....

Access to music player, and then shortcut keys to individual sections of media scape right from homescreen.

And is that a scrollable widget? I thought that was only available on modded homescreens.

SO if Arc is x12, then there's leaked shots for x12 mini.

I dont know what the device is called yet.
The picture doesn't show the keyboard.... but If they follow their x10 path, there will probably be a "mini" version and a "mini pro" version.

Not more than 11.5 mm thick.
                      A 5 mp camera (using c901 sensor).
                      720p video recording.
Still 1 ghz CPU, and a decent RAM.
                      1500 mah battery
                      Android 2.3

Same design, same color, smaller dimensions. And of course "smaller" price.

I would sell/gave away my Wave in a heartbeat the moment this phone comes out. If ever. LOL

As usual, very beautiful design. Good job SE.

But if GSMArena's price estimate on this one is true, I could buy two S8500s at that price. At least in the Philippines anyway. SE phones are overpriced here. :-(

I'm staying away from xperia phones for awhile. x1 was really bad, and x10 is a disaster. Sony need to rethink their strategy and improve on their software support first. They have a good design for their phones but their quality (cheap hardware) and software (late fw updates) support is lacking.

I switched to Nokia N8 and out of the box it did every thing without downloading additional apps unlike ios and andriod. I'm very happy with it, so I'm going to wait for on sony and see what improvement they made since the x10.

I have it on my vivaz and it actually is a better solution than the top placed one. Because the head of the headsed is flattened to fit, while on the top it kinda sticks out

nice phone, but way to fail with not going with a dual core processor. If you're considering of purchasing a high-end phone in 2011 with a single-core cpu, you FAIL.
