ok guys, keep in mind that these earpods can only be used with iphones, so they point to the whole exclusiveness and that... they're cheaper than apple earpods so they are advertised at apple stores for the buyers... obviously there are cheaper/better earbuds out there (and some might throw a couple extra bucks if it means better quality) but the review is good enough (at least to be in the blog section) :D
Not sure I understand the point of this article. An overpriced mediocre pair of earphones. For that amount or even less you can get very good earphones like the Soundmagic E10, Sony MDR EX450 or for very little more the superb Sony MDR EX650.
For audio quality/reasonable price I would recommend Soundmagic E10. These sound quite amazing.
Check out the offerings from Audio Technica. They maintain the sound and build quality but is light on the wallet.
i think that the best buget in-ear phones on the market aer Xiaomi Hybrid which are a little under 20$
""The S500i aren't as focused on audio quality as its more expensive.""
Its like saying: we make cars, but they dont have wheels, because we focus only on look.
I would rather buy Sony mdr-ex110ap that I use for walks with dog. They cost only 20Euro, and have damn nice sound quality.
maybe they are not made from aluminum, and they are super light(3grams) but Im using them every day when I walk with dog, they are threated really bad(tangled in pocket, jammed in jacket zipper etc), and they still work and look good.
So why even review these earbuds when they're only good for showing off?
anish, 03 Dec 2016"The S500i aren't as focused on audio quality as its more expensive."- what does that exactly ... moreJust like 'Beats', they are more focused on designed and to show-off their looks. They are also not for bassheads.
and here I am perfectly fine using stock earbud from my LG G2 and plug it into Xiaomi Mi Note2015...
$50 is to much for me to spend on an earbud T.T
anish, 03 Dec 2016"The S500i aren't as focused on audio quality as its more expensive."- what does that exactly ... morePretty obvious it's just a fancy earphone with so-so sound quality, because better sound quality comes from more expensive audio drivers. In fact a fancy design is cheaper & easy way to attracts customer
AnonD-39937, 03 Dec 2016Wow,that's an iPhone with 3.5mm jack, a museum piece! just made my day
"The S500i aren't as focused on audio quality as its more expensive."- what does that exactly supposed to mean?
hm... sounds like my old AKG K324P, while perhaps not as nice looking, perform better than these. and they were even cheaper. think i paid around $30 USD back then
