Pixel87, 05 Dec 2016Aren't you guys tired of going back and forth on this S7 Edge with a stylus called "Note 7"?. ... moreTry to make a research what was the exact release dates of Samsung Galaxy Note Series and try to compare your rushed statement and let us see if will stick to it...
And by the way.. Your name shows months months months of testing still resulted with a failed Device.
Alien , 05 Dec 2016Samsung is stupid for listening to the majority of it's clients, who have no clue about techno... moreIm pretty sure Sony use the same dirt cheap, poor quality batteries that Samsung, LG, Apple, etc all use.
Samsung is stupid for listening to the majority of it's clients, who have no clue about technology but keep asking for slimmer phones.
I'm not a Sammy fan, but if they want me to be their client, they should make a 1-1.5 cm thick phone with a HUGE battery (that is done by experts).
I don't want a slim phone that screams "feed me" every 2 hours of intense usage.
Stop being a fashion whore and demand for quality!
Right now I'd rather have a 10 year old Nokia than a brand new exploding trash.
And this is why Sony is a LOT better than Sammy in therms of quality: they do the necessary research and testing before selling their product. Not to mention they have the best Android experience right after the Nexus - Pixel line.
does this mean samsung will use a bit smaller battery for it and note 7 will be back?
So, it's because of battery space? It will have more space if physical home button is removed like Google did since 2011. That phone was Galaxy Nexus which is even manufactured by Samsung themself.
Listen, Samsung! You make Android phones. So, it's better to copycat Google than Apple.
AnonD-1825, 05 Dec 2016"I opened up my phone(not a Note 7) and the battery fits snugly in its space.. Definitely no 1... moreThis is something similar to as the Indian railway decided to remove fishplates from rail tracks and replaced them with a permanent welded fixtures joing two separate beams which resulted in tracks to produce cracks over time, especially during winters as, naturally, the metal beams would shrink during winters (during summers they stretch out), but with no space between the beams it would just crack and hence a major accident killing over 200 innocents lately.
AnonD-413292, 05 Dec 2016True. Sony cracks easily. but it dosent try to kill you
Goodbye Samsung for an expensive that explodes. No thanks! Mi mix here I come!
Note7 owner, 05 Dec 2016S7 & S7 Edge have the same design flaws. I wouldn't go near any Galaxy phones for the time... moreThere has been more iPhone 7 explosions than s7. I'm pretty sure s7 and s7 edge don't have this problem since they have been on the market for 7 months already
I believe this is not the real root cause as pointed out by
If this this the real too cause, Samsung has already solved it.
Get it fixed and give me mine back in want it. You should or for your customers who are still loyal to you who went and degraded themselves to a edge 7 Galaxy for a Galaxy Edge 7 the opportunity in which to be able to retrieve a Note 7 for your next model up which will be a note phone.
S7 & S7 Edge have the same design flaws. I wouldn't go near any Galaxy phones for the time being.
well this explanation sounds plausible now all that's left to see is Samsung's statement about the matter coming this month, still hope for the best for the company ^_^
veryangrynerd, 05 Dec 2016No thx full screen rendered useless if i crack the corner of the bezelTrue. Sony cracks easily.

"We at Samsung are sorry our engineers are stupid and d u m b af, your replacement batteries will be 3000mAh if you don't mind, if you do, you will be provided a full refund if you wish"
Instead of putting $3bn in the trash and saying "we are still investigating on the matter" making yourselves looking like re ta rds instead of id i ots.
Anonymous, 05 Dec 2016What to buy now ? A rubbish LG ? Buy Sony man.
