My god, the SD830 wasn't been released yet and Qualcomm is releasing another SoC. Can they just slow down on creating processors.
And both Samtards / Appletards should get a life and go somewhere. Take your actual war someplace here, not in GSMarena
AnonD-39937, 08 Dec 2016yeah, all the cores are used all the time at 100% on a flaghip phone? Wow, I dindn't knew that.I never said they run at 100 % frequency.
AnonD-39937, 08 Dec 2016basically A10 Fusion is still dual core, because it can use or the 2 small cores or the 2 big ... moreYes they added 2 cores this year and they will use them next year in A11. then they'll add 4 more in a12 and make use of 8 cores only in a13 lol.
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2016Perfect comment and reasoning.No. IPhones have been using dual core for a long time therefore most apps and games designed for ios use 2 cores at maximum. but android have 8 cores since years so at least games are designed to take full advantage of both cpu and gpu. Actually Mx player video player for Android and chrome can use 8 cores. So android games can use 8 cores that's for sure.
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2016In real world tests, Apple's CPU beat everyone in single core performance by far. Please explain "real world single core performance"
Either u talk about real world or single and multi core benchmark performances.

BTW I am not in vr thing (both pc and smartphone) at least for 2 years

AnonD-442781, 07 Dec 2016Again, not true. Basic apps like Google chrome or maps, or even gmail use multiple cores. And ... moreyeah, they use , but not at 100% like the muli-core score many brag about, my point was that single core performance is much more important.
AnonD-442781, 07 Dec 2016This isn't true, especially with Vulkan.vulkan uses more cores than OpenGL, but in most cases the cores are not used at 100%, right?

Xz8441, 08 Dec 2016Hello? ICrap 7 is Quad CoreBut unfortunately it can't activate both clusters at the same time, only 1 can be activated so it's at most dual core. Well... HUGE dual core.
[deleted post]I agree. As we cant and unable to "afford" this expensive devices such as Apple. It's better we wait for few month for the android technology to catch up. Samsung is planning on removing the headphone jack in S8 too, just hope they don't..;(
arun5959, 07 Dec 2016SD 835 should cross 200000 in Antutu benchmark as it has got 8 kryo cores . That apart , it se... moreDoubt it. Antutu is optimizer for single core and GPU performance. The extra cores would only make a small difference on the score. Not that it matters, peak performance (of any kind) is literally meaningless on phones, not only is it unsustainable, it is rarely used for long anyway, nor anything (on mobile at least) needs it.
It's great for ARM servers, but we're not talking ARM servers here, which is why the Antutu / Geekbench talk is mostly irelevant at this point for phones. Show me a high scoring phone on Antutu and I'll show you another feeling faster , despite the lower Antutu score, all because of having more ram and thus less loading times...
