Also even if it leaves, probaboy after 1-2 years. Also amoled screen has 'deepest' possible blacks (pixels turns off) and saves battery, while LCD needs to light even black pixel which takes battery drain. Also in Amoled, you can still tweak colors to have the most accurate colors. LCD has black light bleedings. Leds is the future of displays.
No spen!(its high time now we want it soon samsung just launch it as the Note7 failed)No Ir blaster,No MHL or SLIMPORT Tv Out feature,No removable battery,No dual camera like on lg g5 and v20 ,Not so good selfie camera and No headphone jack ,Not so loud and nice loudspeakers ..are my dealbreakers ...
No removable battery it's a deal breaker for me. That's why I am staying in note edge.
I also find ir very useful.

AnonD-606096, 11 Dec 2016the moto z dropped the jack before apple Yes I know. Several LeEco smartphones without a headphone jack were announced/released before the iPhone 7 was. This just furthers the point that Samsung is not copying Apple!
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2016If it has dual-cameras it's actually a deal breaker for me. It just looks like a chinese phone... moreIm with you. Double camera looks soo stupid. Isnt camera already good? the only thing they need to improve is performance. Finally shut down these iphone fanboys screaming 'iphone iz fastezt than crapsung wah wah'.
one camera with large sensor better than dual camera
dual camera is not good view
For me it is superslow software updates when it comes to major Android versions. After many years of Samsung, decideded to switch to pure Google experience. Waiting to get a good deal on Nexus 6P or it will be Pixel XL.
sorry to offend many but amoled screen, i think lcd gives true colours and doesn't burn so i prefer lcd
Bring back the infrared port! They would see a significant increase in sales if this is brought back. Also make the batteries magnetic to retain its water resistance and easy swap! Of course less bezels the better!
m, 11 Dec 2016No FM radio. That's my dealbreaker. That was dropped by Samsung ages ago.
Why?is there know news about the battery Samsung will be using in the Galaxy S8 models,it wasn"t the batteries that cause the Note 7 battery to explode,it was how Samsung designed the phone and trying to make the phone to slim, will we get a double usb port C if the remove the 3.5 headphone port,as the usb ports can sometimes break so easily,so no home button on a Samsung phone will seem very odd indeed, just seen to concepts on you tube of the Galaxy S8 and if the phone looks like them, its going to be an Amazing phone
I'm not a Sammy fan, but if they want me as their customer, they should ditch the Lagwiz and the bloatware first. The Nexus line and Sony have the best stock Android out there, not to mention software optimization.
And to really make me buy it, it should have MIL waterproofing, not IPx.
I don't care about the camera, unless they collaborate with FLIR and make thermal cameras or night vision.
[deleted post]I agree with this poster, People are expecting to much these from there SMART phones.
You pay $600-800 for a smartphone then moan about stereo speakers? If you are audiophile then surely you should be listening to your music on the best headphones money can buy? Or perhaps spend your money on a decent sound system!
If they get rid of 3.5 jack then that's a bad move as everybody who knows anything about wireless sound will know that it's worse than wired just like wireless Internet is worse than an ethernet connection.
If you want decent pictures then buy a decent camera. I really don't need 90million cameras on my phone so I can just facetime or take a nature documentary.
People are getting to stupid with expectations of what they need on there smartphone! Especially when half of these people sit on public transport playing candy crush or doing Facebook and updating there pathetic status " I am now eating a burger...."
All I want to see from the S8 or even better S8pro is High end Cpu and Ram and GPU and most importantly an S-Pen to replace the Note 7 I should be in possession of!
Why? Because I am power/ productivity user. Replaceable batteries are a thing of the past due to waterproofing and dust proofing, Although I can't help wondering if the Note 7 had the space for a removable battery maybe the catching fire saga would have never happened.
