Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016Wow so much false info. Apples superiority in performance is well known even by android fans, ... moreThe fact that your argument is "everyone knows" tells you a lot about Apple fans.
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016People will go blind soon in an early age. 4k AMOLED it's just stupidIt's logical if you want VR.
I tried to see movies via Gear VR and I was seeing pixels everywhere because the 1440p screen of Galaxy S7 is not enough for VR.
4K and Amoled is bare minimum for VR, no image retention, no screendoor effect, no giant pixels.... make it happen!
Apple commemorates ten years of innovation by copying Samsung.
And paying them for it.

AnonD-389018, 10 Dec 2016super amoled is just a marketing term! Wrong.
SuperAMOLED is a patented Samsung product that incorporates the digitizer and the AMOLED panel into a single bound substrate.
My OnePlus 3 has an "OpticAMOLED" display . . . . which is actually a SuperAMOLED panel, built by and licenced from Samsung, then rebranded (in name only) by OnePlus.
"OpticAMOLED" would be a "marketing term".
"SuperAMOLED" is a display and touch interface technology that combines the two into a single component.
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016Welcome to 2010 iPhone.Actually at minimum 2009

People will go blind soon in an early age. 4k AMOLED it's just stupid
AnonD-389018, 10 Dec 2016super amoled is just a marketing term! The first term super is actually a marketing term; while the amoled is an existing term for the tech.
AnonD-105795, 10 Dec 2016iPhone oled screen is from Samsung surplus warehouse using 2-3 yrs old pentile tech while the ... moreTrue, which is why Samsung is not only a supplier of oled to Apple. Apple is smart enough to have other manufacturers such as Jdi or Joked that can make much superior oled than Samsung.
Anonymous, 10 Dec 2016Well of course it can't really do a lot compared to any android phone so it's got nothing to a... moreThis is the type of comment that really gets me. As a user of a 7+ & a G5 I fail to see what Android to that iOS can not. They both do the same things, they just go about them in different ways!
A phone is a phone. Screen might may what it does look prettier but should that be the be all & end all?
