If only it didn't have Sense on it, I would have bought an HTC 10 a long time ago. I still whish there were Google Play versions of phones like this, with pure Android. Unfortunately, the custom ROM opens for the 10 aren't that great. There's not even an official version of Cyanogen for it. Great phone, but just never caught on with the developers.
No Matter, 16 Dec 2016Always bloody US? News like this pisses me off every time.because of the Christmas bonus, a lot of people will be wasting there money on something useless. lol
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2016Why in US, where Apple all around. Rest of world pay same Currency.because there will be a lot of possible customer may bite the bait.
AnonD-189020, 18 Dec 2016i think their CEO need to be retired. no proper marketing stratageno proper marketing strategy?
but whenever Samsung/Apple prices the phone, you complain because it overpriced AF.
better enjoy the deal while it's available lad, stop making such nonsense
$499 US sounds like a pretty good deal for the HTC 10.
It's too bad that HTC still can't get their website correct, at least for the US pages.
On the US site, when you go the smartphones page, the one showing all of their phone offerings, the HTC 10 shows a price of $599 US. But, if you click to buy the phone then the details page shows the price of $499 US. (And no, I don't have a browser caching issue, that I am sure.)
So, HTC either can't get their web pages correct or their web servers aren't synchronized, or both. That's too bad for HTC. You wonder how many sales they lose over such a simple mistake.

Francisco , 17 Dec 2016What is the DAC of HTC 10? Digital to Analogue Converter it matters in sound quality.
Try plugging your headphones (even cheap ones) into a budget 200 dollars phone and then plug them in the HTC 10, you'll see the difference.
"HTC 10 receives $200 price cut in US for limited time" and then other times too...It is way too expensive
I have been using the 10 for a while now and its amazing. For this price it is amazing value. The camera and the audio DAC are top notch.
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2016Too expensive still. OnePlus 3T tears this phone up and it's $440In your dreams, perhaps.
It's been selling at -$200 for a while now nothing new and nothing special.
mir, 16 Dec 2016HTC is just as fast and even has the better camera. One plus are just copycats who have no sha... moreYou should thank these copycats because they're driving the industry forward and making the bigger brands drop the prices on their flagships.
Xiaomi showed us the Mi Mix and today Huawei showed the Honor Magic, both phones try to innovate and are not copycats. I think 2017 the copycats will be the big brands.
Blunder, 16 Dec 2016Their Antutu score is almost identical ( HTC 10 came out 7 months prior to OnePlus 3T )
The s... moreOP3T has actually the fastest fingerprint on the market with Huawei following closely behind, there are a lot of videos showing that.
OP3T also charges faster than HTC10 and has a bigger battery.
And the price.
But yeah HTC for 499 is a good deal. Specially because of the camera and audio DAC.
