After upgrading my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to 6.0.1. a have battery issue. I must charge it two or three times a day and it takes almost 3 hours to fully charge.
I read that many Note 4 users have the same problem.
Must mention: - Battery is new ( the original one), - Battery usage analytics is normal, - Calibrated the battery, - Turned off Developer options, - Factory reset the device, - Restricted the background data ...
And after all, I have the same problem!
So, it remained to do two more things: 1. Downgrade it to KitKat 4.4.4. and 2. Analyze for hardware malfunctions.
Seriously?
Note 4 likely to get Nougat?
That'd be the best news ever
Fingers crossed :)
Note 4, the most powerfull note from Samsung! Beware with all upgrade to all root fans because they can lock the bootloders, so, check the coments on xda-developers.com before make any change!! Beware!
Why Samsung dont upgrade to Android 7.0_
Anonymous, 21 Dec 2016Best phone ever. First 1440p amoled display (and still close to the best). A true Note phone, ... moreIt is the best Note so far considering the Note 7 was unfortunate. The Note 4 is from 2014 and is still comparable to flagships of today. No issues with overheating, great battery life, no issues of the S pen going in the wrong way and spoiling the device.. The Note 4 is twice as popular than the iphone 6 plus which is the apple phablet from 2014
Best phone ever. First 1440p amoled display (and still close to the best). A true Note phone, the last of its kind (removable everything, IR blaster).

One of the best phones till date - considering the specs, removable battery and expandable storage.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2016one of the best phone till date actually i still use it as daily driver Me too. Sometimes I forget to reboot it for over a week because it's so solid. Knowing there's much faster processors makes me want to upgrade, but I seriously don't NEED to. New battery makes it like new again. It still feels premium to me.
GTRagnarok, 21 Dec 2016Mine's still running great. Hard to justify an upgrade when the Note 4 has so many features. Indeed true. Even Galaxy Note 3 is pretty much similar specs to almost all the midranger released this year. It is still usable.
still waiting for my marshmallow here in the Philippines

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2016Best phone ever. First 1440p amoled display (and still close to the best). A true Note phone, ... moreI just got a spare note 4 last week. When this one dies, I'm going back to the same exact phone. I am simply not willing to sacrifice removable battery and the ir blaster.
November security, good joke

Galaxy A5 in Canada received the November security update a while ago
