Everybody seems to have an extreme lack of knowledge in reference to mobile networks and what the new terms mean. 4g is just a letter and a number, and holds NO bearing whatsoever on speed... 3G (or technically 3G+) has been 4G the whole time, simply because 3G+ just stands for 3rd generation of UMTS technology PLUS any and all future upgrades, and was only put into place to create a global standardization of technology so your phone works EVERYWHERE. 4G is no more fast or powerful or better than 3G+.
Now that that's out of the way, I'm so excited to see this phone release! I currently use a 9530 storm and love it, but could stand to upgrade to UMTS technology for much faster connection speeds than CDMA. Didn't wanna make a move until I knew for sure Storm3 was coming!

This is a great phone. I can't wait to upgrade from my Storm2. All I need is better processor power and battery life.

please don't play with symbian for longer time, a lot of nokia phone has nice specs, i agree with that.. but symbiann? no no way...

... moreDear Mr Nokia, i work for a highstreet phone company, and i mmust tell you, nokia sucks. it is now and will always be our lowest selling make of phone, HTC/Android/Iphone/BB always over rule the N8
Pronblem with the N8 is it only good feture is the camera, thats about it.

phone manufacturers should just give us the option to install whatever operating system we want on a phone eg like we choose linux or windows. It would make things so much easier so phones like the N8 which has good hardware would benefit with good software. We all know symbian is old ...thats why meego is coming out. But i would still like an option to install whatever operating system i want on a phone. This storm 3 seems really nice. I hope to see the review when its out

And u talk abt n8? Its an old shit in a new box! What to talk abt comparing with android or apple os...no way. I have been using a n8 and just threw it after a week. Tell me whrs the new in it? A 12mp camera...thts crazy. No luck mr nokia department. Better shift to android. Dont b so secular.

I was a Nokia user, but since they wouldn't move away from Symbian, I switched to Android.
Nokia's symbian^3 could've improved their UI instead of sticking the remnance of S60v5.
Also, Nokia need better hardware...I ain't joking...
Apple, RIM, Samsung, Motorola, and soon HTC are moving to Dual processors.
