This 'PSP phone' yields a mere 41M triangles/sec.
Far too small internal memory, not all apps can be moved to SD card and not all of the application's files get moved! This is a massive issue especially with a gaming oriented device.
I have a desire and this is an issue with it even though I'm running android 2.2 froyo.

Some of the hd games on ios platform are 500mb and more. Granted the lack of internal memory is worrying, but surely these apps will save to sd, and with 32gb sd cards available, what is the actual problem? Untill this phone hits the shelves and people have a hands on with the finished product no one will know what this little beast will do. Im willing to bet it will a huge success and then everyone will hate this phone like they did with the iphone. but who cares, if you dont like it........dont buy it!

[deleted post]Im surely will buy this phone!
gaming addict here!
What i read and what i saw was just awesoommeee!!!
[deleted post]i did buy one,a phone with extremely low memory that is,last march i bought a htc desire, granted low app memory wasn't that much of an issue back then as apps were tiny in size back in that timeframe, but for sony to put in the same standard for q1 2010 in a q1/q2 2011 phone is epic fail.
Some of the biggest hd games are now 15 mb even after app2sd some larger where the devs haven't used the app2sd functionality.
Good to see sony putting in some 2010 hardware too and probably charging the same or more than other new 2011 massively superior speced phones.
the screen is not looking as crisp as arc I don't think it has bravia engine inside it.
Super . Sony is not successfull only with Playstation but with all prduct´s. is HUGE company and very successfull . Same with Ericsson they are very successfull. Ericsson started to make mobile phones since 1995 while Nokia 1996 .
SONY and ERICSSON they are doing great work together . XPERIA ARC and XPERIA play is not everything what SE give to us now , as we saw before there is X10 mini pro successor , and SE Hallon which is mysterious .
When we talk about king , there is SE .

IamEzio, 17 Jan 2011nice to have 2010 hardware in 2011 Phone agreed the spec is very 2010,the app storage space especially so. Any claims from sony that they've learned from past mistakes is totallu unfounded by the looks of it
315mb for apps in 2011 on a dedicated games app phone......instant fail. Ridiculous and stupid out of sony. The htc desire has app2sd also and 130mb for apps but still means very little larger apps especially like those from gameloft can be stored. granted this sony phone has 3 times that but for a psp phone is an insane limitation.......Sony you have messed up. Biggest fail of 2011 so far, most phones come with the standard 1gb which can be used for apps
Looks good! It's all about software in this case.. I trust SE on that matter.
