I have a black iPhone 4. When the white one comes out I think I'll just buy the replacement glass, back & front and hey presto, my own white one.

Who would actually make the same mistakes by buying another iPhone again after that reception nightmare ? Plus releasing the white these few months also weird seems to be timing,since iPhone 5 is probably be release june~july just like every iPhones

Carphone has all the PLU set up for the white aand have done since launch.
can't see the need to rush out and sign up to a contract on a wqhite iphone 4 if the iphone 5 is getting ever nearer.
6 months of white shiny iphone and its out of date

so apple will expect people to fork out tons of cash for the white iphone 4 just before the 5th is released. Looks like they'll at least be making the fifth up with the tech curve of this years smartphones.
pity the ui,menu and styling will be the exact same as the origional iphone 4 years ago meaning nothing has really changed beside the odd processor jump etc but people will keep paying over the odds for the same thing repackaged each year. at least they'll have a working antenna this time round....

@Vodafone Belfast - Ah so no news of when the white version will be released?? Got an upgrade due with Vodafone Uk early march and was hoping to get the white model or iPhone 5?

I wouldn't read into the White Iphone 4 being shown on the Vodafone inventory. It has been appearing on Vodafone UK systems since back in June/July when the Iphone 4 launched. All 4 Iphone 4's appear on the system Black/White 16/32 GB sorry to kill the hype!
