Pushing the S series prices is no surprise. Seems like Samsung is aiming to segment their product lineups more clearly. S to be the definite premium line, with the A series taking over the mid-high range. With more expensive A models showing up like the A9 pro, it makes sense to push the S series further up to make the distinction clearer.
As for the lack of S-pen, nobody cares. People buy the Note/S series for status symbol. Note 7 users are opting for the S7 edge for their replacements instead of the Note 5 should give a clear indication that to most people, what matters is that they have the most expensive Samsung phone, not the S pen.
Nice but Samsung should just make sure this one doesn't explode too
[deleted post]Watch your words my friend and think wisely before making a statement. I love Sony too. Let bygones be bygones.
It's disappointing that the larger one will lack an S Pen. I was really hoping to have a Note 8 ASAP, but this is truly disappointing.
samsung rumours 24/7 suspensful ? get on with your lives samsung ..no rumours
Five Star, 23 Dec 2016Will only buy if it has small bezels.small bezels actually make phone hard to hold in hands. I have OnePlus 3 and it has really slim side bezels, so when i hold device, i always click something near one or another side. I got spigen rugger armor case and now it is a lot easier to hold, also my phone is protected, but i cannot enjoy my premium device feel with this case which is sad, but not too bad though.
Oh my I'm so excited for a samsung phone!! I can't wait for it to be released and recalled again!!!
20% price rise will definitely give some consumers pause for thought, but it will depend on how the iPhone is priced: rumours are that Apple is also going to up the specs with the 10th anniversary model, so will be interesting to see how consumers respond.
Not enough spec leaks though. I think we're more or less clued up on the external details and versions.
