Removable battery? The only reason I moved away from Samsung in the first place
They need to give us a BIGGER battery if it's not removable. My current 5.2" 1440p AMOLED Moto XT1225 has a 3900 mAh battery. That's a good place for LG to start! Maybe 4000 mAh?
I was expecting a complete overhaul but it looks good its better than G5 I hope its not glass and they keep the removable battery and increase the screen size to 5.5inches
I Like a lot this design (with the mate and glossy back too),it reminds me a lot the nexus 5 and nexus 5x that lg also made!
Anyway I hope this is real and not fake!!
*I heard by many people that lg products aren't that great and have some issues here and there. My best friend and his sister had 2 mid-range lg smartphones but they didn't perform well and two mounts later his sisters phone was dead!
I really wanted to get the nexus 5/5x because of the design but this seems good too!!
Be ready, no removable battery.
AnonD-625786, 28 Dec 2016Hm, LG is losing it even more and more with every phone release. I have a feeling the G6 will... moreYep. All manufacturers are insane. Not only they don't learn from their misstakes, but they are always "fixing" them with even more misstakes. I was sure they, d do this thing and when they fail, they will next remove the 3.5mm jack...zero logic and zero common sense. Same happened to HTC and the ther same is happening to Samsung.
Hm, LG is losing it even more and more with every phone release.
I have a feeling the G6 will still be a flop.
Very Cool ...
PLAYER SLAYER, 28 Dec 2016Um, you're wrong. LG knows that the problem was in how the phone was built; consumers weren't ... moreYou are right. The list in my previous comment (that you've replied to) should have been expanded with those things too what you said.
This year no removable battery - next, no 3.5mm jack. They all are so predictable...and so insane.
Tahir Afzal, 28 Dec 2016LG Still not overcome its endless disease BootLooping in (g2, g3, g4, g5, v10), and also in ex... moreUsed G3,G4 and now I am using Nexus 5X never faced any issue like that. In fact People who wander around and say this have never used an LG phone before
Please come in the that black.
AnonD-234961, 28 Dec 2016Enjoy your processor aging and getting very slow for the current software in your battery remo... moreProcessors don't age silly. They perform exactly as they were. Also SoC speeds doesn't matter for the longest time, it only matters in games, even a 3 year old phone performs exceptionally when running AOSP (put AOSP on my Note 3 and it took flight).
tl;dr: SoCs age far more slowly, they only need to be changed every 4-6 years.
AnonD-234961, 28 Dec 2016Enjoy your processor aging and getting very slow for the current software in your battery remo... moreProcessors don't age like that anymore. They're so powerful nowadays, that when support is dropped for them (stupid Qualcomm), they'll still be powerhouses
Anonymous, 28 Dec 2016This menas LG copied the design of iPhone, the same way as Samsung copied iPhone with Galaxy S... moreUm, you're wrong. LG knows that the problem was in how the phone was built; consumers weren't stunned by the gap between the removable bottom bezel and the phone, and that plastic-esc getting primer they put on the phone (under the metal unibody that they still brag about). LG is basically the last manufacturer that puts removable batteries (and IR blasters) on their phones, and they know it, so I am sure it's not going anywhere
will it really have a 6gb ram ?? and battery ?? lil disappointed by the screen size ... but I want to know the mah ???
That spaces on front of the phone could fit a double speaker, and the person below me right, no company logo in front please
For how long do we have to see LG logo on the front of its flagships? 😐
