People, before you go spending your money, remember what the x10 users have gone through with their SE device:
- launched march 2010 with Android 1.6
- updated to 2.1 november-december 2010 (720p video recording)
- dual touch update released just two days ago (January 2011)
- no Froyo or Gingerbread update coming (even if x10 runs a snapdragon!)
- not even a year old, but EOL imminent
SE is like Samsung when it comes to OS upgrades.
Unless SE publishes a commitment to upgrade this device and support it for 2 years, you're better off with LG or HTC.

The screen size seems to be 3.8" for this phone (based on the Galaxy S comparison photo in original preview). Looks pretty compact and elegant.

How could anyone saying that SE is in the right direction again? If this is going to be released on first week of February then that would be great, but April??? That is too late! Common SE release this next month or this will have the same fate as Vivaz.

I'm guessing this will be a 3.5" screen.....
Otherwise why would anyone go for this guy, instead of the Arc? With those specs, I feel x10 is a better purchase.

it has 16.4 mp camera with exmor r sensor but it is only for japan market
xperia neo will be an ultimate android phone with S006 camera but price will be very high!

I am a bit confused, The rear of the handset says xperia, and this is supposed to be a vivaz 2. Can someone please shed some light.

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2011another Sony phone without dual core. boringCan you please explain me why do you complain so much about not having a dual core? Why should I need a dual core? It is a phone!
What is the point of having a big fancy samartphone with lots of computing poweer if it is useless as a phone? Better to have a an excellent phone even if it isn't that smart.
If you want processing power buy an Ipad or Netbook or laptop or whatever you want and stop complaining.
Grow up please..
