The 12mp camera has been running on the n8 just fine with a 680mhz processor and with connectivity working just dandy thanks. I have the phone for over 2 months now. 1.2 ghz is just for the extra demands that one may subject the os to when trying heavy apps on the phone. That should suffice for this phone.

3.1 antenna and other connectivity processor
btw, this is a good choice to adapt meego
still formfactor is still boring
i like meego to have Blackberry torch, Nokia E90 like formfactors
others can rest in peace with symbian

[deleted post]Oh and btw, se may just close down soon cos all that profit they made (and only recently cos most of the time it was losses!) is going to oracle/sun for patent infringments. When android is ripped out from under their feet where do they go to. They abandoned nokia after they took care of them for many years! That was good cos now they learn the hard way again cos google says....'sorry bro, you're on your own' after they get into the legality issues. They must go to bada or wp7 next. Bloody leaches! LOL! Imagine how they would have benefited from nokia now with say the arc having meego on it or even ^3 with continuous updates on their phones, for life.

x10 user, 22 Jan 2011Cyber shot S006 is coming also this is the years of SE and thats that.I must say, the arc is one lovely looking phone. I must say it also that se have really woken up to design some awesome looking phones. This phone does impress me. The part that hurts SE is the fact that they fail to release updates quickly and that they dont like to do it in the 1st place from the looks of it cos they just want to sell phones with newer versions and not back up older versions. That strategy sucks and will bite them soon. 2011 may yield some money but momentary. Enjoy your x10 and good luck.

That means that there are apps already in the app store already available for the phone out of the box. Please read further on meego's ability before you panic!

1.2Ghz? If that's true im sold, especially if it has the same cam as N8. Havent tried Maemo before, this phone might be my first meego phone.
I will never buy an Android phone, for entertainment purposes, it doesnt even have FM transmitter. Crap.

Some may consider better cpu and ram, others may consider OS, some may be intrested in camera and multimedia....but still most look for UI..!!!

N d most foolish arguement.....no. Of apps..!!! If no. Of apps are considered to be the criteria for smartphones...then simple javaME is also a smartphone platform..!!!
According to me, in a smartphone i would look for what the gadget can do out of box ,and not just by some stupid apps.....obviously apps are necessary...but not the prime concern coz now almost every platform has reasonable apps.....a thng of concern is that how many of those apps are for free....!! And ofcourse the OS, and battery management, and it should be pocketable and easy for one handed use...overall i would look what many things a single device can do.....as it is MOBILE phone....for MOBILE entertainment..... :)

Firstly, don't assume that you are the only supreme mobile phone dictator out there. If you like a particular phone/platform and others don't like, don't assume they are dumb not to understand why you like it. It could easily be the other way round since you couldn't figure why others like it.
Secondly, there are many people who have reviewed or owned more phones than you could have in your lifetime. Stop assuming others are noobs and only you are capable or justified to make such mass insult.
Based on what you said, it sounds like you merely touched the devices for a few minutes and make a verdict. I suggest you to buy them, use them side by side for several months before you make such statements.

Lets wait till its launched, and previews are broadcasted. Nokia has lost its foothold these days in my country and my neighbouring countries. Its not easy to make a come back after being forgotten for many years. It takes many successful product launches before they can compete in the likes of Samsung, SE, Apple or even RIM.
If there is shares to invest in, the better one would be Apple, not Nokia.
