Btw meego is more powerfull OS then your laggy, power hungry, only eye candy android. And nokia N8 has even more multimedia functionalities than your ultra hi end, ultra expensive dumbphones.

Its like ur mom got u the illest/sickest looking jordan on the market but its two sizes too small.....but u r gonna rock it and act as if it perfect when.....under all that swag....ur feet are getting blistered....thats the taste left in ur mouth by an iPhone

It does for the excact reasons that i've mentioned. It's how i feel maybe you feel otherwise. But i have to admitt i didn't have a pre Symbian^3 touchphone. I thought they weren't good enough.
You're right about flash 10.1, but not wright about the 7 panels or the necessity of higher resolution for subs on divX...

flash 10.1 as well as html 5 is coming soon to symbian^3. IMMO 3 homescreens are well more than enough for me (especially since i can fit 6 widgets per homescreen).
And you do know that the nHD resolution produces a 16:9 ratio which is better than the 16:10 ration produced by those other resolutions

How the hell does that? I had a Nokia X6 and I hated it.
I had a Samsung Omnia HD with symbian (same processig power as iPhone 3GS, and a felt like a fool next to someone using an iPhone 3GS. The Omnia HD browser sucked both as speed and UI, the phone needed restarts often, etc. With X6, the same story.
S3 is no better that Android 2.2. No flash 10.1, only 3 desktop panes vs 7, and you really need better screen resolution if you want to watch DivX movies with subtitles on your phone.

There is already an internettablet with MeeGo in it. The tablet CAN RUN Android and Symbian^3 apps. Meaning that N9 can too.

By the way. Symbian 3 does blow away Adroid an iOS, at least for those who are Symbian users. It is more simple, more predictable, smooth and fast enough. Plus the fact that for a Symbian user it feel's like home.
Energy consumption is up to the user really and all the functions are at hand. For every Os that is.
Screen resolution is fine, anything above 200 dpi doesn't make a real difference. Dual cores (when they'll arrive which is after 2-3 months from now) have to prove their value against single cores. Will they offer anything better considering their higher price and the software and Os which is designed for 1 core?
Same for 1 giga ram. Is it really any better than 512? I mean is it useable? If you put the Italia's engine on a Golf it will be fast but it's not gonna use the engine at it's full potential - not even close actually.
So until we have those devices tested we can't really tell how worthy they are. Samsung s8500 wave, for instance, has 1000hz CPU and 480x800 pixel screen, but offers less than the Nokia C7's 680hz CPU and 360x640 pixel screen. Cause Bada has lot less support and isn't as refined as Symbian 3...
