Anonymous, 21 Jan 2011haha nice joke, what u think google will just throw away its apps to meego?Google will obviously make it's apps just for Adroid but Meego phones are capable of dual booting to Adrouid,Debian,whatever you name them.
So meego phones will basically run any app you throw at them,this is where other OS's chicken out of the game.N900 has proven it.

if true then you can load any OS,even Windows 7 or Vista,
it's too good to be true,

[deleted post]What question is this? Can't you read the reviews on the Internet on GSMArena? And do you really expect that N8 with his slow processor, low RAM, stupid UI, no Flash 10.1 to be better than the best phone of 2010?(see the internet). Even GSMArena did not dared to compare the N8 with Galaxy in the N8 review.

i hope its not a 1ghz arm 11 which nokia loves so much lol.....but seriously i think its a snapdragon cpu because qualcomm and nokia had agreed to launch a 1ghz phone.....or might be even atom who knows.....but its good hear a real high end smartphone form nokia..but meego still has a long way to go specially in app department...all the best to nokia and meego...

if clear black display was almost neck n neck with super amoled and retina with nHD resolution.....
It will definetely be better with a higher resolution...
Guess i will have to dump my iphone4 and plans of buying iphone5.....n9 im cumin ..!!!

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2011Impressive hardware and Nokia do very nice still images on phones, however both their OS's are... morewow, so ye've sampled Nokia's actual MeeGo fer mobile(with their own UI which nobody really knows yet)? So how was the experience comparatively te the current SymbianOS?...

The n9 will not have same sensor as n8, no chance, too big to fit, since the phone has to sit flat like the e7 does, it will be a desent 12mp cam, but dont expect the best like n8 one. None the less, i would sacrifice a bit of camera quality as long as its still 12mp for bragging rights , but having a 4 row keyboard, 4inch AMOLED CBD display like E7, but (i believe it will have a 1.2GHZ or 1GHZ ompa3 cpu with the best broadcomm GPU around , better than N8's one, n8 has the broadcomm 2727 but n9 will have the 2763,(the 2727 has 32million poligons per sec, the 2763 is rumoured to have around 150mill plus!, PS3 has around 230mill, so thats dam good!) this GPU is super powerful and should compensate for the other mobiles with the latest cortex A9 dual cpus in it. (IE think of it as a desktop, GPU';s now are powerful enough to create speed for a computer if nthe CPU is at least resonable). If meego can be implemented well with the omap 3 1 or 1.2ghz cpu and the GPU stated, the N9 will be a killer handset.
the only thing that can kill it is how long nokia will take to bring it on sale, so that it will sell before the iphone 5 comes along (that should be a good fight)

Sure it looks good. Sure they'll probably asnnounce it at MWC. But don't get too excited. It'll be delayed time and time again before it's released, and will be old news once it's on the shelves. Shame.
