But if you see the thousand of free themes that S60 have, you will find out that Symbian can be better looking than Android and iOS (Actually, Android is a very ugly OS in my opinion, Xperia X10 is the only exception, but it's not common sense, right?).

Symbian^3, Symbian^4 and Symbian^5 were different development platforms Nokia planned when they bought Symbian. Couple of months ago, Nokia decided that having 3 different versions of the same OS wasn't a good idea because of the high maintenance. SO they decided to make it one called Symbian OS and updates planned for the different versions will be merged into one.. So the different changes planned for S^4 and S^5 will be merged into the new platform and all these updates will be released accross all devices based on the new Symbian OS(incl N8, C7, C6-01, E7) over the next year or so..
Meego is a combination of Maemo and Moblin and is true linux based OS which will give developers lot of flexibility to do stuff unlike Android which uses a virtual java based machine to run all the apps.
Nokia N900 is often known as a phone for developers. The phone which came with a 680MHz has been running successfully at 1.15GHz. Meego will enhance this.
Meego devices will be categorized under the "Mobile Computers" branding just like N900.

if half of what is written is true, it will be a game changer. A phone which can Dual boot Full windows 7 or meego or linux. wow.

If everything about this phone is true, it have the right to be ... moreN9 must come in the first half of 2011 or else many Androids then will have even better specs. Many new Androids that are coming early 2011 have almost just as good specs, so N9 can not be the most expensive of them all. N9 have great specs for today, but in 6 months this will not be true anymore, and this have been the biggest problem with Nokia, being to slow from announcement to the day users can actually buy the phone. N9 is already a bit late and should have been on the market late last year.

Why do u they so much of hype and spread rumours with this phone? now when Nokia unveils this one, if there is going to be any delay or missing feature among things that are already listed here they again these people will come down hard on nokia that this is missing or that is missing and its all not good enough..

I am one of the many users who decided to leave Nokia after the N97 and Symbian failiure, and I love my Galaxy S with its Android. N8 and Symbian totally sucks, but my next phone can maybe be N9 with its MeeGo because I like hardware-qwerty and N900 was ok even though the hardware and battery should have been far better. I hope Nokia give a big battery and not the same old traditional small Nokias-batteries. The only potential problem with MeeGo is OviStore that sucks, and the fact that Android already is a good well tested os with very many aps and games...
N8 was no "comeback" nfor Nokias, but N9 will be Nokias comeback among the best of the best phones, IF the price is not to high and IF MeeGo can offer many apps and games...

lol, so funny reading all those clueless fanboistec comments who says this phone is Symbian and they keep arguing about Android phones now have dual cores processors with no clue that Android doesn't even support SMP or AMP to take advantage of these cores!!
On topic: If the new processor doesn't drain power as hell, then it will be great thing to see on a mobile phone, although I would like to see them use and ARM processor paired with Broadcom BCM2763 for graphics (just as initial rumors said) .. this chipset is great! giving 190 polygons/sec, encoding and decoding 1080p at 30 fps and render games at 1 giga pixel/sec in 2D/3D at 1080p native resolution! That would be mind-blowing!
