Same thing happened with Windows Mobile, Windows Phone 7 & iOS (Which is Proprietary software actually).

I do however think all this needless mindless bashing is getting absurd and we just need to come to an agreement that we have competition and competition is good for the consumer.

in addition to my comment about the Iphone 4, wildfire and N8. If the MeeGo can run anroid apps and has the basic conectivity as the N8 (where u can send a file over bluetooth, no need to use stupid "bump" software) then this will be such a great platform! if MeeGo is Symbian which can run Android apps... this will be a winner.. even the android fans will love it!

Android 2.3 was hacked to work with galaxy s before ur n900. And not with a crawling interface as in n900.

I use the Iphone 4, HTC Wildfire (2.2 Froyo) and a Nokia N8. which one do i prefer in order if apps are not involved. N8, then wilfire then Iphone 4. But which 1 do I prefer if i look at apps point of view, Iphone 4, Wildfire then N8. I aint realli an app guy, who needs an "angle measuring tool" on the phone?! if they did the N8 would have it out the box! I am yet to see how well the meego performs out of the box. I dont no how anyone can compare yet. most people on here seem like mindless pubeless gfless fags. Will this be open source too?

[deleted post]Meego Sucks but it can Run Android Apps... Hmmm... Sounds like a jealous Android Only Fanboy to me. 3.0 looks very similar to Maemo, which guess what, they combined with Moblin and Linux to make Meego so saying that Meego sucks when we have Honeycomb 3.0 is basically admitting that Honeycomb sucks.

                            Meego Will Rock!!!

                                  1. it's "You haven't tried Meego yet"

                                  2. How the Heck do you know what I've tried? Meego has released some of the SDK and early versions already. Also youtube has loads of videos of Meego.

3.I can take that same comment of yours and flip it "You and most of the other Android-Only Fanboys have never tried Gingerbread or Honeycomb but you and the other Android Only fanboys think they're the greatest things ever.
