Nokia N8 is coming with 12MP camera.... just because it'll lose the competition in the race of Androids! After using Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc I'll advise all to buy it... it's just favulous... Samsung Galaxy S 2 is too a good phone... but i prefer Xperia... It's just brilliant looking phone... But whatever... never go for any Symbian.... or any LG Android set....

chester, 02 Feb 2011I don't we need that moto atrix (docking stations),coz having USB OTG and Bluetooth 3,makes it... moreTrue and point taken. There is actually no need for the docks. I just connect my N8 to the Tv using the HDMI and i still have my 5800XM cables for the connection to my other stuff. The USB OTG feature is awesome so the use of these docks is pointless but for the US market i'd think it would play a very important role in gaining some market share there. The US consumers tend to like these gadgets so from a selling point of view, yes, include the gadgets as a supplimentary to what it has, just for the sales to catch on and for the added versatility of the phone for that market specifically. Nokia is not well received there so the impression needs to change with these funky gadgets. I wouldn't get them anyway. The USB OTG feature serves its purpose really well and i take lots of photos and transfer them using this feature on the go!!! I connect the phone using bluetooth as well to my netbook so there is no need for the additional bloatware for this purpose. BTW the phone is tops when connected to my netbook and surfing the net is a piece of cake!!!

As i said it must happen for certain markets and Nokia needs to make some inroads into that market. A station of that sort should be much cheaper than getting a netbook for students as an example and this can be a showcase for the raw power of MeeGO. Let Nokia show it of to the world that they are onto something spectacular and then the bantering and Bashing will stop on the Nokia aspect once and for all.

          Just my thoughts.

          Shot bro.

Considering this on the n8,u can connect it to your mouse, keyboard,Screen(Monitor or HD tv or Projector).

I don't see any use of having something like moto atrix (docking stations).

They coughed up millions to the network so it would make sense to release a phone of that capability. There rumours of that happening but i hope they are true! Couple LTE to the new phone along with whatever we've read thus far and we'd have a super mobile computer in our hands that nobody would match anytime soon:) Now they just need some good add ons like the moto atrix (docking stations) and then they'd have a #1 seller around the world!

This will put them on the leading position in innovation.

Intel showed off some device on the 20th of January. I think there'd be 2 devices minimum launched (could be more though!) 1 being a tablet and the other a smart phone. Nokia is really hyped about the mwc and that just tells me that they are probably going to officially use this convention to launch their 1st meego devices. Lets hope so. I think people have under estimated the nokia/intel partnership. Its showtime!!

Tried replying a couple of times but my post are pending review???? Anyway, I'm just using my PC to post here. What I hear is that the Processor is said to be 1.2Ghz and probably dual core too. I'd hope it is both but would love if they just come out with something like quad core just to get some of the ground lost!!!:) Would be nice to do that with the N9 huh and it should then take the market by storm?! If I hear anything i will post it here or on the N8 forum.

                              Cheers.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2011then MeeGo will kick adsroid :) Wasn't the N900 suppose to kick the Iphone 3GS' ass? Wasn't the N8 along with Symbian^3 suppose to kick total ass as well? Well none of those kicked any asses. MeeGo? MeeGo is like a fairy tale at this point, you hear nothing but talk and dreams but yet to see anything. Intel just showcased a prototype of Medfield, their ATOM for the mobile phone segment, was it running MeeGo? Dunno, Intel didn't even show it, they merely flashed it and say "hey look we made a mobile phone cpu". If it was running MeeGO why not show some functions of it? MeeGo will come, but will it impress anybody? Probably not, considering Google is already getting ready for mass release of Honeycomb. If you own Nokia stocks, wait until MWC and then sell your nokia shares.

All i heard is that it would be a 1.2 ghz processor and possibly dual core. I hope its true. That would be perfect to launch this device. Maybe if they want to silence the critics once and for all, launch it with a quad core and really good GPU!!
