adkane, 29 Jan 2011I have to disagree with you on that. I've heard from many people that OS performance is a joke... moresorry bro.. though ur right.. the fight is not getting a clear winner, it does have a clear loser.. symbian is totally out of the race.. it's iOS vs. Android..
whatever be the outcome.. i think apple has done something almost impossible.. it has single handedly taken on the rest of the companies, and has also beat the crap outta most of them.. that too with a single phone against the large no. of models other companies have on sale..
dont think m an apple fan.. m not.. i use android myself.. but credit where credit is due.. nd yeah.. apple products are great.. it's their policies that suck..

Im waiting to see GOOGLE launching their own phone which is manufacturer by themselves and become the next phone manufacturer who own the list...muahahahah
ANDROID is doing so damn well that every single phone manufacturer are working so hard to fit the ANDROID requirement and launch the ANDROID phone and to gain more market share, but google is too advance and update is happening like every single month that some phone manufacturer may not be able to catch up with them, and sooner or later google will dump all the phone manufacturer and launch their own ANDROID phone which is manufacturer by GOOGLE themselves....hahahah

It's always the smart phones, always the smart phones. Why?
How about the "dumb phones"? The ones with only the phone essentials on it, no wifi, no camera, touchscreens, internet etc.
Apple, RIM and HTC doesnt sell dumb phones unlike Nokia (S40s), Samsung, Moto and the others, but they still cling on the top of the list. And I still wonder why. But dumb phones really do sell like their intelligent counterparts and those numbers are all lies, if not, incomplete. Change the title to "2010 Smart Phone Market Overview". Don't talk Mobile Phone Overview when youre only talking about smart phones.

I remember being surprised when I read one year that Nokia was selling more than 400 million units annually, Now they're up to 450 million but the market has grown faster together with the competition that snatched most of that growth.
If my math is correct that is around 14 mobile phones every single second. F-ing impressive!
Another great fact is that top 8 producers made more than 1 BILLION mobiles in 2010, and the market is still growing. that is around 33 mobiles each and every second. WOW!

All those who talk bad about Symbian have they... moreive used symbian in fact i work in a phone shop seen every nokia phone yes when symbian works its fine but there are certain cases( n97) cough sorry what, it just fails constantly.i also aknowlage that while n8 is a brilliant camera phone the best in its class there not that reliable and most people will complain about performance it mainly comes down to customer ignorance same with android this is why ios is winning limited feature set but made for simple people. da, you apple still its android for the win eventualy.

Considering that Nokia announced a downfall as of income it's difficult to belive that they sold the most units in 2010... but statistics talk...
