Their benefit comes from optimization of the current performance. Energy consumption will concequently won't be affected unless the users fall into the temptetions of taking advantage of all the features of the phone.

What will anyone do with dual core or quad core in a phone.
We have to use phone as a phone only and not as a computer,, nokia is producing smartphones with symbian.
But symbian is not good looking and not having good graphics in menu. And can lg make good hardware like nokia, sony ericsson or even motorola....etc these phones will never live until one or two year.
And what will be it's battery backup, '2 or 3 hrs?? You ppl will carry 4-5 spare batteries? for this phone which will have dual and quad core processor???...

the thing is most people who use nokia never used android.. i used more than 50 nokia more than 10Nseries,used HTC Sonyerc android sets and ihpone 3gs Iphone4 used WP7 OS also... after using this i can tell nokia made the start of smartphones but the are the last among them now.. on the other Hand HTC,Sony, LG,Motorola Toshiba are all making superphones with DualcoreQUadcore processors,3D screens,3D cameras,DDR2-3 ramz sooo...nokia should step into android and WP7 os to be on top or they could make some 30$ phones as they are doing right now.. Nseries was the executive class of elegent phones but now Android and IOS and WP7 Is executive class... Nseries n Eseries cann't be classified as Executive or exclusive phones... they are just normal phones like nokia 1100,1200 of the early times.. they dont pack any exclusive things.. and about those camera's i got DSLR and can kick the hell out of nokia's camera... thay could bring 3D camera in to their sets which might make them superphones.. and at least 1ghz single core dual core or quad core is a must be processor nowadayz...

LG has arrived. I am waiting to lay my hands on Star Black. It's got the best display tech. I heard it's very light too. If it was ppowered by tegra-2 then it could have been the best phone ever.

But trying your best to be the best off all is what makes lg one of the back uprissing phones especially the smartphone section.

I was between LG Optimus 2x and Motorola Atrix... too bad that LG decided to give only 380MB ram visible to the user when Motorola uses 1GB.

The 2... moreits pretty nice, but i dont think itll be THAT big, above LG is SE, then motorola, then samsung, then the giant nokia.. samsung raped the market with its army of galaxy s phones, and they barely made a dent in nokia, their shares are up, but no where near what nokia is pushing out, now if they had used that nice screen they made for the iphone 4 on their own phone, that might be a different story ;p

Tell you what,smart guy...I'll bet you anything you want that not only you cannot see the pixels of the iphone whatever they're calling it these days and anyone of these lg phones, but you couldn't tell the difference even if you saw them side by side.
Now, me, I'm a symbian user...not because of the fact that I like nokia or one brand or the other. The phones I use I could afford at the time I made the purchase and they did what I asked of them. At the end of the day most people only care about the looks of the phone and what it does for them.price might also be important...however all this mickey mouse crap about this phone having more pixels our ram than the other is just plain ignorant.unless you're the type who defines himself by the devices he uses, all these figures mean next to nothing.androids and iphones are built around internet access while symbian is more closely developed around converging devices.
Samsung makes no design change in their phones by the years although most of their range is updated twice a year which is useless.iphone does the same only it costs much more, while motorola and ericsson are just struggling for air and don't promise much in the way of technical support in the future which makes them useless.i was planing to upgrade one of my phones to the motorola backflip because of the possibility tohave a front facing camera, only in europe it's stuck on an old version of android.the x10 mini pro is another interesting device but it has old software, no video call camera and very high sar for my tastes.htc don't bother trip change the design even for different platforms.that leaves nokia who sometimes make cheap but capable phones and lg who are about the most promising manufacturer at this time.only problem is that they're new to the smartphone scene and these products haven't penetrated all markets yet but that's about to change.
