No, because the processor isnt good. There are Xiaomi and LeEco phones with almost flagship specs going at the same price and even cheaper if you look around.
Only interested in their Flagship, and that has to be good, OnePlus will be their main competitor in the first year. They need a 4000mah battery or higher and a great camera in a durable body.
Why no option to choose for: waiting for flagship with Win10?
This year (or next?) Microsoft will be giving more attention for the mobile support.
We really need this for the market to keep sharp...
Nokia remain aim about profit . Classic western vs Mi Corp tactic. using the lousy phone to turnover who lost fate on you?
please if I may ask, what exactly is "SLOW" about SD 430 ?? I am using the new Gionee f103 pro with a quad core CPU, Mali 720mp2 GPU with 2gig ram but this phone is still impressive when it comes to performance and all. Now, am not against this article but the manner with which GSMArena talked about SD 430 looks a bit fishy and inappropriate to me. In my opinion, this phone will be very good in every way a complete smart phone should be. pls lets not kill the young fella before it's even born, not that it matters though cos it's still gonna sell well. It's a Nokia after all.
HMD global - NOKIA or whatever needs to make way better designed phone first , capacitive keys and physical home button are not acceptable , it makes it look like some cheap Chinese brand phone never heard of ...
Not interested in the Nokia 6. Its not what most people want from Nokia.
The device people do want is coming soon.
Rafew007, 15 Jan 2017It's NOT the same Nokia as we used to know before.... So, no way.....So true.
We want REAL Nokia , not another chinese phone with Nokia logo attached.
truone, 15 Jan 2017people associate nokia phones with durability, theres no nostalgia here, and the majority of t... moreI agree and i think thats why they spent so much money on the aluminium and anodize process wich takes 10 hours
It's 2017 and we still have 8 core A53 chips. What a waste of resources!! I dont see a lot of apps other than benchmarks use all 8 cores and perhaps, would it hurt to use a couple a72s or a73s instead of the old technique of a53s with higher clocks. Hope we would have more powerful low end chips next year
and btw, S430 sucks
It's NOT the same Nokia as we used to know before.... So, no way.....
Anonymous, 15 Jan 2017That chip written "meh" on it xD perfectly fits for Nokia 6's SD430 which is normally built in... moreLol. Was gonna post the same :P
Besides, if leaks are true then Nokia 8 seems to be a proper flagship for 2017. Eagerly waiting for it....
If I am in the market for a midranger then maybe. But wise guys will probably wait for the Nokia 8 and it's GSMA review.
Remember the Lumia 950 (by Microsoft not Nokia)?! When it released it had pretty good specs and also a few standout features (Windows 10 OS, Continuum, Carl Zeiss Optics) and all the Nokia/Lumia nostalgia filled fanboys were waiting with bated breadth. But the reviews quickly dampened the hype showing an over promised implementation of Continuum, extremely low battery life optimization and other software niggles. And look where Windows is today? And please don't even think of repeating the Windowsified- Android mess of Nokia XL.
Let's all hope that Nokia doesn't go down that path of Microsoft (and HTC, unfortunately) and once more we can have healthy competition in the smartphone realm.
Meh makes a very great processors people but it is just not popular, Meh is even better than qualcomm and the others believe me... :D
Nah. Waiting for their flagship phablet. If the pricing isn't through the roof and the reviews are satisfactory, I might get it.
