Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017Windows are appless and featureless. While I'm a Windows Phone user and are happy in general to read about Windows Phones, I would gulp your comment down with a pinch of salt. You bought 3 flagship devices? I'm a Lumia 1520 user, by the way.
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017"with Windows 10" That's where I stopped reading. I understand that GSMarena is about phone... moreYou stopped reading but you still made a comment, how contradictory! (hater alert)
good price at a too late time. doing business with rich company like microsoft, their money is expensive.
Crispin Gatieza, 15 Jan 2017The Idol 4S already has a BlackBerry variant genius. It's the DTEK60.You only read what you wanted right? I KNOW the DTEK60 is a 4s with a BB logo. What I wrote specifically puts an accent to this fact. The 4s is way cheaper than the DTEK60, and with the same ROM and a sticker,no one would realize you have a 4s and saved a couple hundred dollars in the process. When you can't read a comment, you don't make any comment either, genius.
Why in the world a device would coen with a free VR headset if
1: Only 1080p
2: No VR apps for the whole platform?
At that price, if it had Android instead it would be a good purchase (you could flash the BB software and put a BB sticker and people would think you have the DTEK60).
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017I am sick and tired of reading all this "you shouldn't report on Windows phone" crap. Not ever... moreThe smartphone format war is well and truly over with Android and iOS the winners. It may be nice to have a lot of choice for OS but developers are not going to release half a dozen versions of their apps. You don't even have a decent mapping app for your expensive HP Elite X3.
Claudiu.Lucian, 14 Jan 2017What the heck can you do on Windows 10 Mobile with VR!?That's the issue here. Are there even any apps that support VR on WP? And are they even being updated by the developer?
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017I am sick and tired of reading all this "you shouldn't report on Windows phone" crap. Not ever... moreSo why did you even buy those phones if you were not even gonna use them anyway?
I am sick and tired of reading all this "you shouldn't report on Windows phone" crap. Not everyone needs to fill their phones with apps they never use. I have an s7 an iPhone 7 and an HP Elite X3, My sim is in my X3 and has been since the beginning of Dec, the other two are consigned to the drawer for safe keeping. It is far better to have a choice of OS rather than be stuck with only two.
And lets be fair, if Google had supported Windows phone instead of shunning it then we would have a different story, but they were afraid of the competition 3 or 4 years ago. I don't use any Google services on my S7 and never will, apart from the OS. Shocking company with shocking business practises.
Jack Hobbs, 14 Jan 2017Windows phones should have curtains on them, draw them and say good night and good riddens, us... moreThat said!!! Fully agree...
Time to stop with this windows this, windows that smartphone news...really?? there's 2 players in the market only: Android and iOS, period.
Windows phones should have curtains on them, draw them and say good night and good riddens, useless platform ever made, stop making them, Full Stop!
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017"with Windows 10" That's where I stopped reading. I understand that GSMarena is about phone... moreAlso, you stoped reading but yet you spend time writing a useless comment. I would say: This thing is far away from smart;).
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2017"with Windows 10" That's where I stopped reading. I understand that GSMarena is about phone... moreI see nothing dumb in windows mobile. Everything works flowesly and the most important apps recieve updates. Sanpchat or whatever other useless thungs, i do not need;). So, yes, their are people thact actually use smartphones for something other then a gaming chating platform
What the heck can you do on Windows 10 Mobile with VR!?
"with Windows 10"
That's where I stopped reading. I understand that GSMarena is about phones in general, but let's be real we're in the era of the smarphone. When your phone is not being supported by a great majority of big app makers or your apps are outdated as heck you're not a viable platform in this day and age.
I have stopped reading news with "windows" on top since late 2013 ... I wonder why are they still reported, nobody buys those phones ... there is a real need for smarphones today, dumb phones are not a very interesting market.
