AnonD-404798, 17 Jan 2017I don't see any change in design when it comes to Samsung phones either ... all J , A and S se... morethey're not the same , the J series looks different from A series which looks different from S Series , meanwhile , all xperias from e5 to xz look unsurprisingly similar .
SonyFan, 17 Jan 2017Oooh!Someone has a problem with their eyes. How can you say that the UI is like Xperia Z? Don'... moreNo problem with my eyes , only different corners and that's about it
XZ won market ! which market ? the "I don't want a samsung or an iPhone and I live in USA " market ? that's not enough for success .
Tourettes Guy, 17 Jan 2017I won't consider the new design every year as an innovation, rather just a gimmick. Btw the XZ... morethe problem is that the UI is not feature-rich , I never feel that is acceptable nowadays
Tom, 17 Jan 2017Only if you expect your phone to last 18 months.Exactly why you don't buy non-Sony products. You pay $700 and it'll only last for 1 year, not even a year and a half
Very accurate wow.. Unexpected update but there's a minor bug.. Sometimes when you close the one window on a dual mode window.. When you watch a movie it freeze but there're still music on it.. It requires to pause and play again to get it run fine
AnonD-634173, 17 Jan 2017That's because samsung always tries to innovate and be new , unlike sony whose latest XZ looks... moreInnovate and be new, yeah thats fine but dont you dare say that they have perfected their designs. Samsung has always trailing behind Sony when it comes to design. Samsung even could not pull off a waterproof body as of yet be it the flop S5 or the explosive Note7, they just failed both of them. And please tell me that you are loving the new design language of Samsung debuting with Note5 & S6, right? If so, then please check Xperia Z from 2013 and you'll see where this 'inspiration' is coming from.
Also, Sony has already ditched the glass body design which Samsung fanboys are loving right now and moved to frosted glass in 2015 then ALKALIEDO aluminium in 2016. They keep on experimenting on their design, no doubt Xperias are lookers on a table full of Galaxies.
Z5 Dual received the update on 17 JAN. But my speaker volumes are very very low now. I almost didn't hear my obnoxious alarm this morning.
Improved battery life. As in better than 73hr Endurance or better than 48hr Endurance after Marshmallow update?
edwooty, 17 Jan 2017I'm pretty disappointed with this update as it was the same-bored UI when I first bought this ... moreMy sister's G4 running Marshmallow barely looked like Marshmallow of the G5 and V20. Samsung tend to change UI frequently that results to instabilities and bugs of the OS
AnonD-39937, 17 Jan 2017Sony is the best OEM on the Android market, congratulations to them! Only if you expect your phone to last 18 months.
AnonD-491921, 17 Jan 2017Samsung has headphone jacks got phonejack
AnonD-634173, 17 Jan 2017That's because samsung always tries to innovate and be new , unlike sony whose latest XZ looks... moreI don't see any change in design when it comes to Samsung phones either ... all J , A and S series look the same ... and there wasn't any change in design since S3 , you say innovation , what is that innovation besides edge screen which is quite useless and annoying...
I'm pretty disappointed with this update as it was the same-bored UI when I first bought this phone which was 10 months ago! Rest of it was fine tho...
Believe me there's no interest for me to talk sweet about SONY,but look i just upgraded my Z5P to nogut version and when I'm working with my phone it's like I'm sliding on pile of butter, smoothest of smooth phones ever
Why my z5p dual does not receive any notification do you know why? Somebody help plz
Just updated. The ui is smoother as well as camera. But no manual focus and shutter speed like xz does. Why sony???
Chanaka, 17 Jan 2017Atleast it doesn't explode and has a headphone jack Samsung has headphone jacks
