They just get degraded over time, which you may not even noticed until the charging cycles are getting more and more frequently. With a removable battery, you can just snap in a fresh new one easily and life goes back on. Regardless, it is always better to have something removable and replaceable than something shut from the users.

Seriously now.. read the latest news about nokia. They ran out of stock in all stores in philippines and china!
But wait for it.. samsung goes boom!
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2017You must have some unheard of gift that can see the actual device's dimensions through a CASE ... moreWell from this point of view they look big, but maybe when they release it I may change my mind.
consumersmartphone, 20 Jan 2017I'm pretty sure that Nokia will bound back as huge competitor if they make something different... moreWell said man, Nokia doesn't stand much of a chance if they don't distinguish their phones from the rest of the bunch or offer them at a substantially lower price point. I only see their mid-range offerings selling well not their flagships which, knowing Nokia will obviously cost A LOT!
Windows-Phone-Sucks, 20 Jan 2017I'm more concerned about the durability of the built-in battery life span, than the in-between... moreI've used smartphones from different brands and none of them died after a year of usage. And like the original poster said LG produced seal battery phones before and many of them are still in working condition.
I really like how the back looks, the specs will be top grade I'm just a little concerned about the battery lol
The phone is actually not that big, it's the size of the LG G5. But because of edge to edge, phone can fit bigger screen.
why today smartphone is really big?
hopefully this phone would get the compact version
I was impressed by the design and hope it does come with compact size and IP68 certified.

Well, I guess it's in g... moreTrue, this is just decent bezels, not some off-the-world WOW bezels (a la Mi Mix or the S8 render). Hopefully the case makers don't have the final image of the phone, after all they only really need the dimensions, button placements and port openings.... And good to see that they haven't ditched the 3.5mm jack (*tears of joy*).
AnonD-378570, 20 Jan 2017LG! bring back the design language of LG G4G2 is better.
Even as a general fan of LG's design language, that is one UGLY phone. Well, I guess it's in good company with the S8 so far. And why are those bezels so big? Where is that 'All screen, no body' look that LG has promised us? Well, you gotta stay optimistic, I guess
consumersmartphone, 20 Jan 2017With samsung big name and network, S8 will crush everyone if it not "fire in the hole" device.... moreOf course. I'm not talking about the case where S8 goes totally flop. But other makers can get a price of the pie or not depending on S8 capabilites.
