Well The problem is since cards started out I forget to even get cash, even when my wife as for some to pay for small stuff. This is why I use cash or Venmo, but now that you mentioned what happened it's scary. But a transaction that is happening through Paypal, for example, is actually coming out of your account/credit card. shouldn't they be responsible since they do partner with paypal, visa check out...etc?

But here is the bigger problem as I see it. Would you really do financial transactions whether payments or receiving on a platform by a company who doesn't have any means to contact them? That to me is madness. For all the flaws of my bank, if I don't get a payment that was due I call them up. If a payment doesn't reach intended recipient I call them up. Who do you call when Android pay screws up?
I tested Google wallet out with £1 payment sent to my brother via gmail. Asked him to reject it and send it back to me. This was suppose to take 3 business days to credit my account. It's been 5. I'm looking up Google's details to contact them and they tell me to ask the recipient. I hope people wake up before it's too late. Cash is king, for everything else there is contactless cards. Phone can supplement after that.
Who is willing to take chances with Batteries? what if your phone ran out of batteries? Unless we geat Really good batteries those cards will stay.
