Photo is a lame photoshop try and i can tell you for sure: S8 has 6 gb ram with 64 gb internal and 8 gb ram with 128 gb internal, all variants with microsdxc card
Anonymous, 27 Jan 2017Ram is the most important spec for every day performance. If they keep it at 4GB , expect a pu... more"I hope the rumours are wrong because if not we'd have the first flagship with mid range performance in our hands," how many mid-rangers do you know of that comes with a flagship SoC? I'll wait...

It will be... moreThe Chinese markets is already oversaturated with over-specced redundant phones with crappy iPhoney software and back fingerprint sensors, Samsung will make most of its sales and bread from western markets, SK, and a few other places; their sales and profits will double from the last quarter if anything so I'm not worried about that aspect at all because it will be well received. I don't believe any of the haters here anymore because they were totally wrong about the Note 7 affecting Samsungs bottomline or brand reputation lol And RAM is always more useful on a x86 setup than on a tiny phone because it runs real useful and powerful programs not watered-down ones.

I've come to the sound conclusion that you can't satisfy anyone on this site they'll always nitpick about some trivial minute detail that won't make a huge difference in their lives lol

All the other phones that already come with more RAM. It will be old news by then. By the way most flagship PC'S come with at least 16gb of RAM these days. Yes the spec war is ridiculous but by your own tacit admission this phone will be inferior in the Chinese markets in terms of RAM which is ridiculous for a flagship phone.
mischa, 27 Jan 2017Hello. Why does the price of Samsung smartphones not depreciate as months pass by? A Samsung G... moreApple products too lol just goes to show that not all Androids are created equal.
You want me to stretch my finger all the way up there? And get smudges over the camera lens too. Na I dont think so samsung..
do you guys even understand? this is a way of getting feedback from us first-hand about the supposedly 'new' specs well before the actual release :) They might change the specs based on the negative bashing :D:D

This whole spec war is as pathetic as the GHz race back in the day in the PC industry. If Samsung packed in all the specs like 6GB-8GB of RAM and way better camera then what's left for the Note 8 other than newer stylus?
These rumoured specs for the S8 are extremely underwhelming to say the least... Samsung os going to commit hara-kiri if this is true... 4 GB RAM...???!!! Are they crazy...??!! The same cheesy 12 MP camera from last year....???!!! Nokia's N8 with its PureView tech 24 MP behemoth will destroy your puney 12 MP shooter....!!! The only good thing about these two phones are the screen size.... I'm sure screen quality alone will be top notch.... BUT thats not enough....!!! I would definitely think this leakster, whomsoever he is... has gotten these specs wrong.....

Who else would buy such an e... moreWhat are you talking about people are still using S3 phones to this day, Samsung is very good with providing monthly security patch updates there's literally a new GSMA article about it all the time, there is no company that offers the removable battery feature anymore not even LG and Samsung phones will never sell as low as the G/V series even the Note 7 outsold and retained more users than LG's latest and greatest lol
stankny, 27 Jan 2017You don't need more than that smartphones aren't full-blown personal computers lol So let me get this right. They introduce midrange phones (C9 Pro) with 6GB of RAM but their flagships come with less and you think that's sensible? Not to mention the C9 Pro comes with a bigger battery despite having a smaller screen. These spec's, if true, are not impressive.
