AnonD-183089, 27 Jan 2017fake pics & specs imo !!!! how come S7 Edge 5.5" has 3600 mAh battery while S8 5.8" will ... moreThe batteries can't be larger if the size of the phones is not larger. The displays are really only going to be taller because of the change is aspect ratio, which means a larger diagonal size, but since the top and bottom bezels are smaller the size of the phones themselves will be roughly the same.
Panta, 27 Jan 2017No USB type C, very bad try... They dont even try to make this leaked pictures look real! :/It does have Type-C the information is coming from a reliable leakster so why should you refute it? The photos on the otherhand is a bit dubious lol
Samsung thanks for saving HTC.
If the specs rumored for HTC 11 (8 G RAM 256 G storage room ) are real it will blow S8 out of the water
PLAYER SLAYER, 26 Jan 2017This seems a bit wonky to me... I mean, just look at where the fingerprint reader is! Half of ... moreThe G6's back will look the same as the G5's just without the protruding dual camera setup. We don't know how good or bad Bixby AI will be so wait until some solid reviews are out. I do agree with you about the pressure sensitive screen, why only half? 3000 mAh will suffice thanks to the new power efficient chipset (20% more energy efficiency) and I'm sure Samsung already ran battery endurance tests on it so you should be able to get a full day on the basic model and more than a day with the Pro. And just be glad they're going with a reliable fingerprint scanner instead of a faulty on-screen one. Also don't be surprised if LG packs in a non-removable 3000-3200 mAh battery too, in fact you should expect it lol
Simon, 26 Jan 2017I was so excited for the S8, hope it's not true. The back looks like the S7 with a fingerprint... moreBlame Qualcomm not Samsung, the on-screen fingerprint scanner wasn't reliable enough and if they went on with it then haters will say that the S8 is very easy to break into lol
This is Sony's year. the next gen xperia's are coming. Get ready to be blown away by the true king of technology.
mir, 26 Jan 2017Still the same camera? But others were already beating it especially late last year. Not the i... moreOnly the Pixel/XL but not by much, picture quality on both phones are great no other phones can compare except for the iPhone 7 Plus.
Anonymous, 26 Jan 2017Lost me at the 4gig ram.You don't need more than that smartphones aren't full-blown personal computers lol
Oh shit a 3.5mm headphone jack, this calls for celebration lol the only downside is the 3000 mAh battery on the basic model but the new 10nm chips should compensate that so it shouldn't be a big deal especially if it supports QC, I expect acceptable battery endurance ratings for both models. All-in-all this is a very good upgrade for the king of kings.
JJ, 27 Jan 2017fake photos. i can see the charging port is not USB-Cit is usb typ c
AnonD-196068, 27 Jan 2017I would agree but for one thing. We heard all this for the S6 and Note 5. It turned out not to... moreYou are right. This leak really disappoints. None of the important hardware is getting upgraded.
The battery capacity, the RAM amount, the camera hardware is more or less the same as before, when other manufacturers have alreadty moved ahead. 3000mAh is a bit low, many flagships are offerring 6GB RAM and the Pixel's superb camera has already usurped the S7's offering.
Bixby seems like an answer to a question that no one asked. It seems like the only solid upgrade is the new screen-to-body ratio.
fake pics & specs imo !!!!
how come S7 Edge 5.5" has 3600 mAh battery while S8 5.8" will only have 3000 mAh & S8 6.2" 3500!!!
AnonD-586893, 27 Jan 2017therefore... how serious are these leaked specs and images of yesterday...still not convincedFair comment. Let's hope that's the case. I just have this nasty feeling Samsung have stopped listening to their customers though and thus don't care.
AnonD-196068, 27 Jan 2017Do you not find it ridiculous that their cheaper mid range devices come with more RAM and bigg... moretherefore... how serious are these leaked specs and images of yesterday...still not convinced
Anonymous, 27 Jan 2017Actually considering the battery size the S6 did quite well. And the Note 5 had a respectable ... moreDo you not find it ridiculous that their cheaper mid range devices come with more RAM and bigger battery for a smaller screen?
