Hats off to your hopes... The OS which was unable to maintain pace with Android and iOS since last 8 years, how can it cope up in future...Google is continuously adding excellent enhancements in its latest versions...If you are expecting Windows to be dominant in mobile sector in future as it is in desktop/laptop, then u r completely wrong...
Karly, 27 Jan 2017Glad to see most people are not dumb enough to buy a dead OS.As dead as this OS is, it still has the potential of becoming the most powerful Mobile OS, if Microsoft is willing to work hard enough on it. I still believe that Microsoft will one day tweak the mobile OS as much as to incorporate most or all of the functions of the full Windows OS.
A dissaster where you want to see. What the hell?
Even the chinese lower tier brands sells more than them. And that is very bad for a company which is supposed to get millions of sales with it.
Seems that Microsoft gave up on Windows Mobile.
As muchI wish there was another OS option, I'm glad Microsoft is failing miserably in the mobile game. Yes, I'm a Nokia fan.
sohail shafayat, 27 Jan 2017The number is tiny because Microsoft released only 1 device last year and that was Lumia 650. ... moreI'm not sure if you're joking or on drugs. Microsoft sold less than 1 million, that includes all the lumia lineup not just one device. Plz tell me how does that make Microsoft popular, when other manufacturers can sell 4 million unit for just ONE device, in just 1 week?
Alien , 27 Jan 2017It's a miracle they sold those lolIt is also a miracle they still have trolls. I actually find it good, they still sold something. I do not want to have to choose between two dated systems.
Shinigami, 27 Jan 2017It's high sales performance ! The retailers have no more stocks, they have also no more stocks... moreIn fact the figure is "LESS THAN A MILLION" which is an excellent way to disguise embarrassing figures.
am ready to buy Microsoft devices but its not releasing new one. am waiting more than one year. (am a nokia fan) but now am forced to buy android.
It's a good sign. People still wants Windows Phone. Microsoft should release some devices right now
The number is tiny because Microsoft released only 1 device last year and that was Lumia 650. Yet they sold a million. It's huge! This proves that Windows 10 mobile it's still popular. Currently I'm using two Windows powered Phone and both are performing well. If Microsoft released 15/20 models more, like other OEMs, then the sales number would have been certainly competitive. So haters, don't be so happy and full, android is scoring goals in an empty field where there is no opposition but iOS only.
MS should consider marketing software more than focusing on the hardware! When they introduced win10 mobile, with limitations to other Lumias phones except Lumia 950 and 950 xl, I mean here Continuum, by saying hardware limitations! They lost a lot of users and customers, specially when we discovered that old Lumia can run continuum with cracked software! We lost trust in win mobiles and seeking for alternative platforms.
