Kinda lost all faith in nokia after N95.. not that i dislike the N8 and some other of their handsets but they are not just in the game anymore. I really wish they go for the andriod platform.

[deleted post]Okay Mr Professor you marketing genius you who thinks Nokia don't employ people good enough to market products save us the double posts. The problem is pretty simple, Nokia have not made a good phone "Nseries" in a very long time. N8 is the first IMO since maybe N95 8GB but was let down by the half baked S^3.
You can do all the marketing you like but you will never beat old Stevie J.

[deleted post]told you in one of my post earlier. I'm from indonesia :). Okay, while BADA OS run on minimum system requirement, that makes it not much different on symbian. And the biggest selling point of an OS is usability, application, and user-friendliness. Symbian despite what people said, is one of the most user-friendly OS out there. I can figure out how-to-do almost everything in a single usage on my first use of symbian, while android i need to learn days and days. symbian vs BADA, both can run on minimum hardware requirement but symbian winning in terms of apps.

AnonD-1190, 09 Feb 2011Please refer someone's name correctly, its Tomi T. Ahonen, you confuse me for a second there. ... more"Ahonen says
the Ovi App Store is second to Apple's" ? We
know second to apple's app store is android
                  market.

Errr, like that reference above mentioned by you was for app stores owned by manufacturers! Now android app store is big no doubt, but they dont manufacture phones and hence is invalid with regards to the actual comparison. His statement is thus correct.

This all started with Nokia in denial of the first gen iphone that was released in 2007. They pretty much ignored the first iphone's success and presence. Thinking that it was merely a trend that would not last. Despite the first iphone's huge success, Nokia kept their money and energy focused on their N96, while Samsung and HTC took advantage of the touchscreen trend that the iphone created and worked on their own iphonesque devices. That gave Samsung and HTC, a lead over Nokia in that aspect. Now Nokia lagged behind in the touchscreen segment and is desperately trying hard to catch up. Nokia will end up swallowing their pride and adopt Android if they want to survive. Otherwise, their foolish pride will lead to their demise.

SE are saved because of their android phone (they went with symbian s60v5 and WM before and they almost went down because of it). I don't find BADA OS attractive, their OS is still immature and their apps is worst than OVI store.
