again, nokia should stick to symbian 3 and meego. what must be done is amp up the cpu from 600 mhz to 1 ghz and add 10.1 adobe flash player.
the trolls are really interested on nokia devices, otherwise they wouldn't even bother to post negative remarks at all!
microsoft + nokia - ios and android killer
Nokia kept coasting on the success of the n-series, n95 in particular
i dont think elop will use wp7 and android
if it is so, i leave nokia for good, jump to hp
Microsoft + Nokia = Fail.......
[deleted post]We now have another almighty brand's fan called Mista Calais Report who claimed all free Android apps are illegal....
There are only three players in the industry, Nokia, Apple, Android andt least Nokia has(had?) an own platform in contrast to
Samsung, LG, Moto, SonyEricsson that have not even tried to play in the 1st league of the industry. They all piss in their pants to stay warm and use other people's services and OS's and think they do great.
Comments?
Dump MeeGo for an Android and I'll NEVER buy a Nokia device. If this company wants my money, it'd better go with MeeGo.
Its not that hard Everyone is after either ios or android. Adopt android os on at least one of your flagship handsets and when I say flagship I mean a handset with at least 1ghz processor. Being stubborn will get you no where. Also if you want your own os such as meego you may of wanted to release it last year as its getting pretty late to bring in a new os.
While competitors poured flames on our market share, what happened at Nokia? We fell behind, we missed big trends, and we lost time. At that time, we thought we were making the right decisions; but, with the benefit of hindsight, we now find ourselves years behind.
The first iPhone shipped in 2007, and we still don't have a product that is close to their experience. Android came on the scene just over 2 years ago, and this week they took our leadership position in smartphone volumes. Unbelievable

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2011http://communities-dominate.blogs.com/brands/2011/02/the-nokia-ceo-burning-platform-memo-at-en... moreI'm glad someone else also realises that the memo is fake. I hope that GSM Arena realises this as well.
AnonD-291, 10 Feb 2011I know that Microsoft is very much capable of adding such functionality but I don't see them d... moreI think even the almighty brand once referred the merger of BenQ Simens being "2 turkeys don't turn into 1 eagle".
Guess the same can be said about the "possible" merger of the almighty brand and Microsoft.
Personally I can't wait for the day when my Android tablet can run everything of MS office (plus edit), as that day comes (which will likely happen given the current trend), I would say goodbye to Microsoft and Windows....
if Nokia joins Android, I'm getting out of the cell phone business. Thats a combination that should NEVER happen. No WP7 or iOS either. Either go full force on Meego or just drop out.
it's all clear if you can read between his lines. Nokia is joining Android. And my even join WP7 as well.
if the C.E.O can admitt failure...so accept it that Nokia is falling appart...but at least they are acknowleged that
AnonD-1216, 10 Feb 2011do you really think that microsoft is unable to add some simple functions. MS is very strong i... moreI know that Microsoft is very much capable of adding such functionality but I don't see them doing it. they have been talking about adding copy paste function for two months (as if copy paste is some technological breakthrough)
wp7 was released with soooo many drawbacks. no Bluetooth, no usb mode, no sd card support, no video calling, no divx , no copy paste and many more. .....it feels like a joke.
and windows mobile was never a success thats why they abandoned it. it was just a desktop os cramped into a mobile.
AnonD-171, 10 Feb 2011um there is Qt you know that's all they need to use all the iOS and android apps on symbian/me... morebefore they can port it it required developers approval. if they port it without the approval of the owner/developer its illegal.
AnonD-171, 10 Feb 2011if MS was strong with that they would have made a better desktopOS ....win7 fails i use ubuntu... moreexactly the market wants more on gaming than terms that you use.look at iphone do you think people want it because of ram features etc etc. no but because of apps.
