I'm the only one pozitive here, about that news?!?
AnonD-1311, 11 Feb 2011you do realize the date of the article says september 23, 2010He resigned from Nokia after he was not chosen to become the new CEO and was upstaged by an outsider (Elop).
AnonD-1311, 11 Feb 2011you do realize the date of the article says september 23, 2010I know. That was time time during Elop's ascension. We were talking about how Elop made it into Nokia.
AnonD-112, 11 Feb 2011I think Nokia is working with Microsoft to prompt their meego OS based laptops. And WM7 to use... morenokia takes over engadget page. Not surprising. Nokia has "american" Os now.
too little too late.. if they really wanted to get back in the game they should have adopted android on they high end phones.. um last year.. too late now.
why they dont choose android????sucks all
Well, I can´t see why WP7 is a better OS than Symbian or Meego. From my viewpoint, I think it´s a risky move. Let´s wait and see what they can do (for real). Inbetween, I expect that Nokia will maintain support to its current phones.
Oh dear. I've always liked Nokia for their build quality, and I was more than happy with Symbian, even though it does lack the experience of iOS and Android. But now that it is partnering with the WORST platform ever, I doubt the smartphones from Nokia will ever be as enjoyable again. Better stock up on the old ones.
Droid Rampage: so it some kind of 'Internet exploder'(would not touch that virus/ worm magnet with a 9 foot pole, thats why I use linux...) feature?? (you have checked the destination, not just looked??)

Anonymous, 11 Feb 2011Y you guys need to understand. Nokia is not making wp7 their primary os. They are making windo... moreplease elaborate..
AnonD-37, 11 Feb 2011I felt sorry for Vanjoki. He resigned from Nokia after what happened. http://eu.techcrunc... moreyou do realize the date of the article says september 23, 2010
I think Nokia is working with Microsoft to prompt their meego OS based laptops. And WM7 to use Nokia's popularity.
But this could turn bad. And could be good. But I'm out, I've going with android. FML never thought I'd say this. :[
this is a great news. i was waiting for this news for a long time. wish you all the best.
Modern ABC
M for Microsoft N for Nokia O for "OWLS".
Is making it to the US so important that Nokia is LITERALLY letting go of their "rest of world" market? Anyway, Im done with Nokia. Will always love Symbian though. Never liked this Elop guy from the beginning. But whatz the point of supporting a company that only does what THEY think is best, not what the public at large wants? Im seriously done here, and I'll personally see to it that NONE of my peers and family ever buys Nokia again. Next stop fer me? Probably an iPhone(second choice an HTC Android device)
AnonD-1191, 11 Feb 2011chairman of nokia is now thinking that choosing "elop" was the blunder.not only blunder he choose destroy all Nokia work from zero.. Nokia is sheep now
Y you guys need to understand. Nokia is not making wp7 their primary os. They are making windows phone their primary os. Its gina be something similar to hp and windows 7(pc). These nokia windows phone devices would be marketed as must have for all windows users. its ingenius.
YEY
Lol good didn't bring an n8, nokia nice way to disappoint your current fans for some unknown fans.
I don't think that nokia working with microsoft is a good idea evry company should be on it's own and things will work out fine for
