Nokia was doing well because of poor choices.
Everyone saw it, and nobody on nokia's end would listen.
Microsoft had his eye on nokia a long time ago. So they send over a guy who claims to bring nokia back on track. But the truth is he'll destory Nokia and leave it over to the wolves to take over the diffirent parts that make up Nokia corp.
So sad to see another european company go down because of Microsoft

ECONOMICTIMES report snippet:
Neil Mawston of London-based Strategy Analytics said Microsoft was the big winner in the partnership, by teaming up with the biggest mobile hardware vendor in the world. ``In terms of expanding their distribution reach, this is a huge win for Microsoft,'' he said.
For Nokia the deal leaves uncertainty about what will happen to its current Symbian operating platform. Mawston said he expects it to be phased out within two years and ``completely, or at least mostly, replaced by Windows Phone.''

Symbian cannot compete with android and ios. Nokia must speed up to face the critical environment. Both of the giants waked up and cooperation. WP7 is good os if they can take off the limitations.
Gonna be one heck of an ecosystem! Android doesn't stand a chance against the combined forces of these two giants. Nokia has just given Microsoft the breakthrough it needed for its platform. See if they don't revolutionise the way our phones connect to our PC's!
consolation.
Symbian update 2 at 80% finished. Qt gui still ongoing.

Nokia has become a victim of Microsoft's strategic plan.
Microsoft got the ultimate benefit of having a ex-microsoft employee in nokia.
Microsoft will gain everything from this but nokia is going to lose more & more...
Im an Android user. I feel bad because Nokia chose Win7.
Im stucked with having inferior hardware and useless camera.
So sad.Why NOkia, whY!
I feel like Microsoft uses Nokia as a selling jumpper to increase market sells! Im sure after Nokia got dry out, they simply don't give a s-h-i-t to it.....what a stupid move Nokia...i was hoping u find a solution, but not like this....
Blackberry and to some extend Apple were just made the future kings of the high-end smartphones world.
And there were those who say "money can't buy everything"

Its said that among the phone cos. Nokia is the highest spender on Business Intelligence......is this what their decision after applying their intelligence in their analysis!! I wonder how!!!
And see....E7...theier supposed-to-be-next-prime-seller...is based on Symbian..and its still to face market(in most areas)!!!
Samsung has the potential to be no. 1.....it somehow standardized (after Apple) the whole smartphone market....specially at lowering the price and making them affordable for masses but still giving out quality..
