Better if Nokia focuses on S^3 and Meego
This is embarrassing .
Nokia phones has got very good network coverage. I was out at sea and my friend's SE, Samsung and LG couldn't get any network to call out. I was ask to try with Nokia and it had coverage! Surprise, surprise!
The Only way to Save Nokia lies is in the hands of Loyal Nokia and Meego fans...So here is the plan Nokia is eventually going to launcha a megoo phone so many windows phone 7 dum*bphones....so all nokia meego fans must purchase a meego phone and should not purchase even a single nokia windows 7 phone....as no of meego phone increases it will attract more devs..and will force that S.O.B. STEPHEN ELOP TO RETHINK HIS TRATEGY.....SPREAD THIS MESSAGE THROUGHT THE WORLD....THE POWER TO SAVE NOKIA LIES IN YOUR HAND........GODSEED
Go meego!! You are the last hope of nokia users. Cmon nokia release it! Even if it doesnt sell well. Lol
Ooo interesting. So wot is that 50+ features update? I hope its not just 50+ bug fixes
Nokia will get the "next generation" of WP (and some special *coughs* favors from M$).
the symbian roadmap: PR1.1:
January 24th – released on february 4th/8th
-PR2.0: February 15th (during MWC)
– The 50+ features-Update .
PR3.0: Summer (The GUI Update)
i think meego is more powerful they just need to unleashed its potential.
I hope they release a good Meego device with N8's imaging capabilities this week...
Don't forget the actual big news, folks, which is that Nokia has split its operations into "feature" and "smart" businesses. Separate businesses with separate management and (presumably) strategies.
I have no doubt that Nokia has done some kind of special deal with MS. And I agree with an earlier poster - Nokia's biggest strength has always been its hardware. MS clearly wants its OS associated with hardware quality, variety and character. Nokia can't compete with the cloud tech of Google and MS, so has formed an alliance with the industry underdog.
I hope the deal turns out well for Nokia, as currently all WP7 phones look alike and they've been on the back foot for so long. Strong competition between Nokia, Apple, Samsung, LG, Moto, HTC and RIM = a big win for consumers!
they will still continue symbian for 150 million units that is equivalent for 1yr. RIP symbian 2012
I am not sure Elop, as the CEO of a company as big as Nokia, could decide everything by himself. Surely, a team helps and limits the power of Elop. A team consists of board of directors, technician, marketing etc. This team certainly has reviewed all aspect before deciding go together with MS. Only time can tell whether this cooperation will be fruitfully. We will see. This cooperation is not eternal, if not come out with something as expected, anytime the parties would quit. That what business practice is. One last word, NOKIA is a big company and NOT STUPID.
nokia is falling down looser to other manufacturer, e7 is nokia phone this year2011 no one can buy e7 because no symbian support at 2012, n8 is my last nokia phone period. wp7 is suck. goodbye nokia........
nokia doesn't have any device to showcase in the event... Even if they show the meego it won't make it to the market... And nokia has stopped producing symbian phones.... Might be a tablet to show but that will be of intel moorestown.... Only symbian can save nokia.
That Elop is a former Microsoft employee. I read it in some article and it also said how Microsoft was about to overtake Nokia, and since Nokia has taken up WP7 that won't happen. There people will make Nokia conver Sony Ericsson.
android become popular because its from google,if its from nokia do you think nokia haters will love it?i dont thinks so.haters will always be haters.just wait nokia will rise from the ashes.GO NOKIA...
I believe, nokia will announce their new line of their product, especially for low mid models....
Can't wait for the N9-01. Will be picking up the first Meego Device and getting rid of this HD2. Come On NOKIA! HURRY UP!!!
I believe that Nokia has a surprise to show us... I wanna help Nokia to achieve all goals and win this race against our "enemies".
