when will samsung be seroius about their designs...it looks like iphone...stilll i prefer ip4's sharp crisp retina over this display

again good job done on hardware front , but when samsung will launch an army of career specific models, mess will began and this phone will crave for firmware updates like the galaxy s , i an owner of galaxy s can see the clear future for this phone , a lot of US customers will buy so many flavours and stuck on gingerbread (though the first update will come within one month as a maintenance update) but good luck for icecream version and even gingerbread carnel updates, because i think that this phone will also have the sms bug which was in stock 2.3 nexus s (nexus s though got update )but samsung will repeat history of galaxy s (atleast in FW update department )and be prepare for an army of galaxy s2 avatars(why samsung didnt release a single version for each carrior this will lessen the burdon of devloping seprate FW for each device!)

I bought my Nokia N8 for $400 U.S. dollars while others had it at $500 and up... some even had it at $600. This phone will be around $500-600. Not bad though for those specs. As soon as this comes out, im buying one. Sorry Nokia but you have to go to EBAY! F-You Windows!

There is one thing I miss from the vid, whatever it's very informative: phonebook. I found the the phonebook app in Galaxy Tab is almost useless.
By the way, this one may win over SE Arc, whatever it's a less, hm... elegant.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2011I wonder if samsung will ever make a mobil that doesn't look identical to the iphoneHow does this look like an iPhone? Oh, you mean it's black, squarish shape with rounded edges and it's flat (as most phones the last 10 years), it has a touch screen covering most of the front, it has a (rectangualar) button at the bottom for easy reach of your thumb (where else would you put it?), it has a camera on the back, it's thin and when you enter the application menu there are a lot of squarish figures.
Yeah, HAS to be an iPhone-copycat! Samsung should go with a bulky shape, roundish screen and buttons on the back instead of the front, or it'll just be another iPhone! (Sarcasm? Never heard of it.)
Oh, and those saying "it looks just the same as the last one" - have you checked the front of ALL the iPhones? Yeah, iPhone has changed a lot in terms of looks over the years... not. Thinner, sure, but the front hasn't changed since 2G. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2F4O0QIzC4
