A great job from Samsung indeed! The galaxy S II is indeed the beafiest Android smartphone (so far), 1Gig of RAM, 1080p video capture and a 4.3" screen. All that packed in a sub-9mm casing! Great stuff without a doubt. Looking forward to this phone when its due. I wonder what does HTC got up their sleeves to compete with the Galaxy S II.
I just wonder why most people believe this phone doesn't have an HDMI port. I'm sure it will have one, it would be dumb if they dont include one as the handset is aimed at capturing 1080p videos...

Samsung should really fire their marketing people...The "Letters from the World" video that I saw put me to sleep.
I hate to see engineers doing their best to bring us the latest technologies in our palms, while marketing people do their best to destroy the company.

Juan, 13 Feb 2011Looks like a big iphone, why they need to copy the design and ui like apple?uhm.. if you look at them big blue ugly fields, you'll see that the Galaxy S2 is copying the WP7 look, not the iOS, that they copied with the old Galaxy S.

OMG!!!!! a couple of years ago my laptop wouldnt even have 1gb ram, and now its in a phone :D
i just wish it stayed at 4.0"

well,galaxy SII is the wow device this yera as galaxy S was last year! orion procesor + 1gb ram + best screen + 1650 mAh + slimmest body! motorola atrix has higher screen resolution and bigger battery, but otherwise this is an unmatched phone,, just imagine it had a slide-out playbad like the xpria play: that would have been from another planet!

Super AMOLED plus increases the number of sub-pixels by 50 percent -- this means twelve sub-pixels instead of eight. That means that SGS 2 has 1200x800. Am i right?
