I guess those of us with the Desire HD can use the phone without feeling the need to get the latest phone form HTC. At least, I can use mine for some months whilst I wait for HTC to come up with something compelling... let Samsung and Moto take the lead...for now!

But I have to admit, the Galaxy S2 has what it takes to make me consider changing camps!

AnonD-1741, 15 Feb 2011Damn it where is the Desire HD 2? this calls for a revolt!!!Maybe HTC is reserving it as a 2nd half flagship? I read a rumor that these Android OEMs are planning to launch a second batch of flagships on the 2nd half of the year with quadcores and other advancements.

Lets have a poll to see how many people are getting a little bit sick of HTC. Stop re-packaging the same products to us please - their last innovation was the aluminium unibody, and that was HOW MANY MODELS AGO? I'm losing interest, come on HTC ge your game up. And he "S" copying thing is not cute!

I was sooo looking forward to HTC's Slot today at the MWC, what a pure let down with no new innovtions !! I have the HTC Desire at present and I was looking to get the Desire HD but I thought I would wait and see what NWC & HTC Brings - WHAT A LET DOWN !!!! I Thought they would atleast release something like the Tunderbolt for Europe !!! BUT NOOOO, we are stuck with 2 facebook phones that have nothing new and the other 3 are just pure makeovers of current phones with nothing new - Looks like I am going to switch to the Samsung Galaxy S II. Here comes Sammy... Anyone wanna buy a HTC Desire Fully factory unlocked !!! Make me an offer if U R interested....

So dissapointed with HTC, How do you even compare these phones to the Galaxy II, But The HTC Tablet is certainly Innovative, even thought it will only get Honeycomb after its release, its specs are AMAZING, Instead of 1GHz Dual Core, its 1.5GHz!! But Im sure HTC are hiding something up their sleeve, like the Pyramid, Im saying this because HTC are never low on Innovation, think of the Worlds first 4G phone, The EVO, The Worlds first Google Phone, The Nexus One, The Worlds first 1GHz Phone, Also the Nexus One, And best of all the world's first Android Phone, the G1! HTC are definitely waiting for the right moment to strike into the hearts of LG, Samsung and Motorola like they always do.

I was hoping a little more of the new Desire. But depending on the price tag can be a good offer. Not everyone have the money for the top hardware. Let's wait and see.

I don't understand, putting the letter "S" on old names isn't that original, it doesn't sound impressive to me at all.

The software on the HTC is excellent. What HTC needs to do is improve the sound quality on their phones. I love my Desire Z, but would prefer a better loud speaker for conference calling. Sound quality is one thing you cannot assess via these funky videos.

                                  HTC fail. Simple as that.

I hope that they read the posts everywhere because they're R&D were not innovative. I love my HTC, but I guess when it comes to upgrading, I will look at Samsung or LG.

MWC started so well too, and I was looking forward to today.
