It's clear, if you want a WP7 phone than get a HTC. Nokia will fill it with bloat and never realease any update, forcing you to new models.
Been there, done that, never coming back to Nokia.
Nokia and microsoft are looking suspicious. Something good is coming soon.
CC, 17 Feb 2011Far too little and far too late. Nokia will be history!are you telling me that it (nokia) grew like an elephant and could not look at its feet and now feeling that there is no ground its trying to grab some ground with the help of WMOS7 ?? and its not too late.. they can come up if they try.. at least by changing their programmers.. the 1000 guys who walked out must never be invited in.. fresh batch of programmers are required..
what they need to do..
- have better HW (not some 680 mhz get a ghz)
- DO NOT TWEAK FW LIKE YOUR WISH!!
- and not changing the phone build quality (nokia phones wont break easily.. atleast survive many heavy drops.. wont they?? unlike samsung and SE who go to the trash at the first fall)
i think MS did a grave mistake.. lets pray that nokia doesnt mess with this one atleast.. or if it does.. ms will go crazy and google wont give its android to nokia.. no one will (incl. ios, palm os) and finally the big elephant called nokia is history xD
this is ur last chance nokia.. make good of it.. else ur dead..
AnonD-739, 17 Feb 2011Thats great news!!
Just make it real multitasking, no restriction Bluetooth transfer,USB mass... moreand adds this
1. autofocus camera (c7)
2. capasitive screen (n900)
3. thin body design (n900)
4. $400-550 price range (9500)
5. opera mini (non us/eu country)
6. april-may 2011 release
Does this mean that we'll get an OS that remains unchanged for the next several years?
AnonD-62, 17 Feb 2011if you think that in every new version of android OS only change of icons is OS progress, then ... moreIf you think that there's a better OS out there other than iOS, then you're on another planet!
Nokia are desperate. Symbian is now devalued, and no sign of Meego yet.
Nokia really should have adopted Android.
Why let Nokia customise the UI? Their UI for Symbian isn't that good. If I were MS I'd rather let HTC customise the UI. Nokia can work on things under the hood.
[deleted post]Truth. It's like Nintendo's WII. Quick popularity and quick death.
If this is an exclusive to Nokia, then Android wins. Other manufacturers will abandon WM 7.
AnonD-291, 17 Feb 2011another daydreamer.if you think that in every new version of android OS only change of icons is OS progress, then you are daydreamer ;)
I hope that will make a successful team. Having strong competitors force every player in the smartphone market push the standards higher. Good for all of us, smartphone users.
AnonD-367, 17 Feb 2011http://in.news.yahoo.com/apple-ceo-just-six-weeks-live-report-20110217-071343-958.htmlthats pretty good news he sucked up nokias' market share
i bet samsung will quickly come out with a windows galaxy s2 version just to piss nokia and grab some market share before nokia came out with their wp phone. hehehe!
stop yakking and get that phone out in the market already. time is the essence here and the longer it take to come out with that wp nokia phone the faster nokia cellphone shares will go down.
