Isn't it interesting how, after getting used to graphics on PCs with the latest graphics cards, and Xbox 360s and PS3's, we are so taken with a little device, with a little screen, offering graphics quality equal to the original PS1.

I don't understand why people would argue that this is better than new PSP...

This is just a phone with play station buttons, it can't play most, if not all the PSP games.

It can play some of the older PS games, yes that's kinda cool but how can you compare that with a regular PSP??

Ngp is a dedicated gaming device while the xperia play is both. The ngp prolly has 5 times the graphics power of the play, and I'm being conservative! Imagine what the ngp can emulate! But I will get both.

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2011Useless. PSP2 is coming.psp2 is coming by the end of the year AND it will be..twice bigger and heavier..and yeah..it won't be a phone.
And yeah, it won't run an advanced, flexible operating system like gingerbread.
This baby will always be next to you and will be ideal for casual gaming, yet entertainig and engaging enough for many people.
Sony NGP will have a gemes that will be more than a gigabyte in size, expensive and complex.
By the time it lifts off, this thig will already have hundreds of quality android games to play with.
