They could have just put their brand name in a smaller font on the right side of the ear piece and reduced the bottom bezel to the size of top. This asymmetrical bezels top and bottom did hurt the phone's design a bit and just looks awkward in any other color than black.
FearlessOneSix, 18 Feb 2017Phone looks pretty enough. But no longer sold on getting one right away until battery reviews ... moreYou might as well just keep waiting till android 8.0 get released in the Q3. This also ensure no issue with this phone. Plus, the price will drop too. Good luck with the waiting game. Its endless.
Lol guys just ignored the troller and Lg haters because they are so jealous with the new awesome design of g6
Rumours bigger battery slim bezel waterproof big screeen lol
Im sold and take my money lol
EugeneOnTheEdge, 17 Feb 2017Tbe back looks okay. The front looks like trash. Seriously, it looks like a low quality devic... moredo not judge right away. live will look much nicer. than with this picture
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2017and the silver back just like the Galaxy Note II from 4 years agoMore like the G3. Anyone remember the faux brushed metal plastic back? Anyone?
But tbh it actually looks like LG did manage to squeeze a 5.7 inch screen into the same size frame of G5! But still... 3200Mah tho... and top tier flagship V30 coming out later with most likely "this is what the G6 should have been wah!"specs and hardware? Man. Tough sell now. Why did I look up v30 rumours...?
Phone looks pretty enough. But no longer sold on getting one right away until battery reviews start to surface and G6 price vs. S8 price is known in Canada.
I'll be honest... the phone's design looks really good. Love the metal look and slim bezels. The backside looks like a shiny owl complete with eyes and beak lol (which is cool).
AnonD-488954, 17 Feb 2017The metal frame reminds me of the galaxy note 4 designed and produced 2 years ago. and the silver back just like the Galaxy Note II from 4 years ago
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2017All LG G series is better than the G2 other than maybe battery life. Hop off your high horse t... moreG2 in most regions also didn't have microSD slot and removable battery. It did introduce the Android world to KnockOn, a ripoff from Nokia. But the G2 wasn't a bad phone by any means. It had the efficient Snapdragon 800 with 3000 mAh battery. That's bigger than the G5's. I say the G4 was worse than the G2 if you count in all the bootloops it had. The G3 was kinda worse too because it was the first LG to offer QHD and it overheated. But the design of G3 was nice.
The G5 to me is like the Sega Dreamcast or Nintendo GameCube of modern smartphones. Underrated, underappreciated. Love my G5 which I basically got brand new for $240 plus $150 of freebies. Zero issues so far and everything is ace on it. Even the design is nice enough. No plans to be fly like the G6 if no removable battery which is where Samsung headed to by 2015 with their S6 and Note 5.
Stick to LG, Nokia, or Motorola. LG is quietly the most innovative. Nokia and Motorola have decades and decades of phone experience (30-40+ years). The rest are overrated, overpriced. Samsung phones all feel bloated after awhile. The G6 is like the Galaxy S6. Avoid the #6. Note7 was technically the 6th gen Note too. Seems like LG may never go back to removable battery like Samsung has done since the S6/S6 edge.
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2017My G2 > G6 LG - lesser grade :(All LG G series is better than the G2 other than maybe battery life. Hop off your high horse that phone is old AF!
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2017I'm sorry but the LG logo makes it look cheap Does it look expensive without the logo? Should they remove it and increase the price then? Good idea. I'll go tell them to do that.
"who love symmetry in bezels"?! I smell nit-picking! Phone looks dope and "compact", probably the most sleek design since G2 they come up with. Kudos to LG!
