haha , I still have one here and guess what ? I am using it right now to read reviews , news , blogs ,and post comments/opinions ,
While I see the reasoning of wanting to recoup some money from the debacle, I don't think this is a wise move at all. I was a huge fan of the phone, I'm still waiting for a replacement since I reverted back to note 4 after the recall. It was afterall "The best phone that never happened". It's too much of a meme now though. Not even I, a hardened fan of the device wants to see it return. It deserves to be left with the acclaim it deserves, not polished, buffed and put out to pasture as a second rate refurb. Aklow it to hold on to what dignity it has left.
well for me i wouldv buy it if would it been between s8 and note 8 .. unless they sell it in cheap price ..

Samsung re-releasing refurbs of a device with known property and life threatening defects...is by no means relatively good business practice, no matter how popular the device was.
AnonD-600061, 21 Feb 2017Lol, no it doesn't!!!!in that case.. let's sue samsung.. lol
hope it's removable battery this time.
Me, 21 Feb 2017Factory reset erases everythingNo, it doesn't, you can still recover data using apps available in Playstore!
OMG. this is CR@P. seriously? Note 7? this company is soooo greeeeedy
This time it's really Shamesung...
Joke of the year
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2017Wonder if the refurbished Note 7 are degraded in order not to steal sales from the Note 8.Most likely. Though it'll be the same x8890 chipset. So nothing too snazzy.
I can see a major problem with this. Should so much as one device malfunction in a similar manner for any reason whatsoever, not necessarily a valid one even, everyone will be all over it in seconds. At that point Samsung's reputation will suffer terminal damage given all the investigations that have gone on etc. and you can bet there will people actively trying to create that scenario. Given the history of this phone people will be quicker to find problems with this than just about any other phone in existence.
AnonD-600061, 21 Feb 2017Lol, no it doesn't!!!!How about the Eraser software?
I still wouldn't take the risk to buy this, unless they sell super cheap which is unlikely to happen. Don't trust this model.
Sammy I dont think this is good dicision, you should not bring back this burried SGN7 back, if some thing again happen with device your image may go down....hope you will not bring SGN7 back n understand the situation n do work hopeful with SGN8 not with past which was drop in to dark chaos......
Bailey, 21 Feb 2017Its no where near a year old phone it was August in America and other parts of the world and w... moreActually it did come out in the UK. Granted it was withdrawn very quickly. I know two people that actually had them and subsequently returned them.
By this, Samsung says "Developed nations are with PREMIUM customer who we care about Customer safety, which is atmost important for us.. India? Nah.., They are our garbage collectors!!"
DrearyDepp, 21 Feb 2017Trust me, some Samsung fanboys out there are worse than the Apple ones. They will buy whatever... moreYour comment deserves an award! I totally agree
