Reminds me of the G2: compact. Now I'm wondering if that metal back can surprise us by being removable. User-replaceable battery is a really neat feature.
I never understood, why not making android direct to compete Iphone.
Like make 1334 x 750 screen.
no headphone jack
NOTHING BUT LIKE IPHONE.
price 400-500 dollars.
plz agree, everybody doesn't need vr or something like that
Anonymous, 22 Feb 2017So ugly. The curves on the screen makes it look like an entry level phone You should also say this to s8, right?

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2017The spy is being persued by the interpol nowHe was immediately released after they realized the G6 in his possession was utter cr*p
The Mi Mix, S8, G6, and iPhone X are just copying a design from 2014 with the Sharp Aquos. Curved displays and bezel-less screens have as much usefulness as Melania Trump. Cosmetic gimmicks.
Stick to my G5. When LG tried to be different, it got bashed. Now wants to be like the rest of the crowd. Not flying with the G6 and its me too design. No removable battery, no thanks. Would be just another planned obsolescence toss in less than two years like 97% of smartphones today.
Looking into another G5. Moto G5. Has metal back and removable battery. Good price. LG G5 is still the best smartphone bargain of 2016 though. Still love LG but will always back Motorola and Nokia thanks to their Panasonic-like reliability.
From Heaven, 22 Feb 2017You got a bad tasteyou call it bad taste, I call it an eye for design. Go and ask any design student what he thinks about the design flow.
So it lost removable battery, gained round corners.
looks so cheap if thats final design, nothing that says its lg looks more like a 100$ china phone to me... lg u suck badly!!
Anonymous, 22 Feb 2017What if it is acquired by a chinese company?
it is better if LG doesn't get acquired by a Chinese company.
LG smartphones always reach Malaysia very late, about 5-10 months late for LG G5. So we normally don't heard of new LG smartphones.
AnonD-645492, 22 Feb 2017Looking forward to this more and more, now only if it is 100% confirmed to have stereo speaker... moreIris scanner - yes
Stereo speakers - no
Although you really shouldn't care about speakers - 'stereo' or not, they'll always be too small to make a difference. Use a Bluetooth speaker if you want to listen to music or headphones in public.
Looking good LG
Although - if that bottom bezel is slightly taller than the top - you've failed!!
Also - I like the curved corners of the screen - but will this not cut off the corners when playing videos in landscape?
Matte metallic finish sounds practical.
Of course it's water proof!
Only downside is LCD - not OLED.
Maybe next year LG
bro this ain't yet the real phone....still looks better than any iPhone...
No matter how, no matter what, I will always have a higher chance of picking a Samsung flagship phone over a LG flagship phone for an Android phone.
I don't like it when they say quote: the screen went up from 5.3" to 5.7"”
LG changed the aspect ratio to 18:9 if the aspect ratio stayed at 16:9 the screen diameter would be more like 5.4" or 5.5". Because of the 18:9 aspect ratio the screen height will feel more like a 5.2" screen.
Now we get the falls idea of a bigger screen. We should start talking about the screen size in mm² ...
