It's a multi core processor so we should be concerned about multi core performance.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2017While it isn't important for you, it is much more important to other people. My phone is my ma... moreYes but smartphone cameras have gotten really good. They need to spend money on other innovations. Also it would be nice if they had flagships in 2 flavours, 1 with a better camera and one with a reduced camera and maybe more battery. That's why I like the modularity idea with the moto series. It would be even better if the industry moved towards a similar solution where a phone is built with a socket for the soc. Then you choose the snap in case like the moto has that includes different types of cameras/socs.

AnonD-524060, 24 Feb 2017Agreed that Exynos 9 8895 is more advanced than its predecessor and able to challenge Snapdrag... moreBecause they are different. Apple has bigger but fewer cores specifically aimed at single core.
These are specifically aimed at multi core while still actually being very close behind in single core.

Agreed that Exynos 9 8895 is more advanced than its predecessor and able to challenge Snapdragon 835 but why they never try to compare with A10 processor. With the Geekbench Single core scores of these processors, i feel they need a year or two for these companies to compare with A10.
Sorry guys, but this is true.. :(

And this wouldn't be the first or second time even that exynos had the advantage in back with the S1.

They could always use a slightly better amp with them though. Especially the snap versions

2xA73 @2.8Ghz
4xA53 @2.5Ghz

Many people laugh about Mediatek and you post to laugh. But they often do a great job (see mt6752 vs S615 or mt6732 vs S410)
About S810, performances are unstable.
See Geekbench database (and browse it)

On xperia Z5, 15% of single-core values are under 1000!
HTC Evo 10 is even worst

On X20, it's 2% only

WOW! The Exynos 9 looks mighty impressive. 2017 is looking great for chipsets with excellent offerings from Qualcomm Snapdragon, Samsung Exynos, Huawei HiSilicon Kirin and now even Xiaomi Pinecone.

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2017These aren't the final results for many obvious reasons. - look to the frequencies 1248Mhz...... moreI agree with you that it's not the final results, but we can get some idea from this.
The min cluster is rumored to be clocked at 2.0GHz, but it's still a rumor. We even don't know if they use four A73 cores or two, and if they use two A53 cores or four A35 cores for their min cluster.

I don't know why you are comparing with sd810(I guess u r a mtk fan boy), but sd810's average score is 1300~1400 in single core.
