It looks lretty much the same with touchpad and all. I think most controller are design as simple as it could get. Nothing fancy like HTC Vive controller. Vive is undeniably more expensive anyway.

Will this new Gear VR support the Note 4 (You know the last Note in Europe).
Meh, never liked the Gear VR when I had the Note 5, but it's nice they added a controller. Makes it a lot easier and comfortable to use.
Does anyone think we will be able to buy the controller seperately .....and.....more importantly, willl this controller work with the the older headsets?
Note this professional article compares this with HTC vive and oculus rift controller in direct comparison, thus, even the media associate this item with mostly with games, rather than multi media controller
Orson Krennic, 27 Feb 2017Do you think VR is only for games? LoL be mature boy... If the controller looks like console ... moreWhich is how they designed the philips cdi controller, which turned out to be failure

If the controller looks like console controller, it will be bad for navigate media, apps and internet browsing ( do you even know you can use internet browsing on Gear VR or you just only know gaming on VR?)
