[deleted post]thats because of the verizon lte radio, remember the evo 4g how it sucked t the beggining becaouse of the networks signal so i guess if you use it with 3g or even 2g will have good battery life or at least a day of usage :)

I don't understand, since they are gonna discontinue Symbian for WP7 then why bother improving itbat this time... If this happened 3 years ago on Symbian^1 it would have made more sense also back then there's a lot of hopes and anticipation (from a users perspective at least) since 5800 came out but disappoints. Plus the portrait keyboard isn't wide enough looks uncomfortable to type probably due to screen wideness. I don't know bout others but I can say that I'm definitely happy that I switched to Android (before that I was an ex Symbian user N97)

hopes this update will be release early. Btw nokia focus on telephony, not a full entertainment system which you wont even use a lot. Phone first thats whats nokia approach. 'connecting people'

The portrait keys look very cramped. If you've got big fingers then stick to the landscape. Swype for Symbian 3 is awesome :)

The OS looks very snappy and lag free. One thing you can say for Symbian, is that it doesn't conform to the standard App Button, multi page interface that hundreds of other mobiles are using.

Tearing myself away from the excellent iOS hasn't been too hard, but the screen is a little too narrow for my liking on the N8

It appears to me that the switching between home screens in the first fews seconds of the video is much more instantaneous, less delay after the swipe, than it is on my N8 - could they have altereed this as well?

That's the most cramped virtual qwerty keyboard that I've ever seen. Re-design it Nokia.
